Cannot wait for Argentina vs Serbia match.
If this match was supposed to be held before Spain vs Serbia and Argentina vs Poland,I would bet on Serbia to win the match. But now my prediction is victory of Argentina however the match might be close and difficult to predict until the last minutes.
Serbia's performance in the tournament has been good, but not as good as a team which deserve to qualify for the semi final especially when we compare them with Argentina.
Till now Argentina has won all the matches and I expect another victory for them against Serbia. Their performance against Poland was really great. Poland had not defeated in the past matches of the tournament and had been appreciated by every one, But they lost the match against Argentina by 26 points.

Interesting games. My predictions of semis are Serbia USA and Spain and Australia.
Biggest surprise is Czech. They play maybe for them best basketball ever.
I have the same feeling. And apart from that, I believe that Australia is going to reach the final match, and why not win the tournament. My initial expectations were with Serbia but I am very impressed by the Australians' performance. |

Looks like Spain vs USA might clash in the Finals with the bracket below. https://www.fiba.basketball/ We might see a good semi finals here between the USA and Serbia, of both teams will be able to beat their opponent. If Serbia would be able to upset USA, I'm still okay as long as Spain will advance in the Finals. Australia will be the black horse in this league. They are underrated this time but they seem unbeatable in their games though. Anyways, I am still rooting for team USA to win it all. |

Czech is 2nd weakest team that is still in the competition based on the odds, so it's a big upset if they will beat the Australian who beat the USA during their exhibition match. With the betting odds that are available now, honestly, I'm so tempted betting on underdog team as surprise happens in this tournament, USA being the favorite does not mean they will win easily in the match, if they will have an easy win against FRANCE, next possible opponents are not an easy team to beat for them. |

Thanks mate, been looking for the live streaming, Argentina is leading the game, it's a good time to live bet the Serbians because for sure they will they will make a rally and make this a close game. It still early so they still have time to do it, I like them to to win this this match. Looks like its a high scoring game. 14-9 currently, Argentina with the lead. Yeah, I'm currently watching the live streaming now, Argentina won the first half but Serbia had a good 3rd quarter and I hope they'll be able to continue that in the 4th quarter and win this game. If Serbia will loss in this game, it's one of the major upsets in FIBA and I don't think Argentina will be able to handle the USA in the semi finals match. let me continue watching... LOL...  |

Wow, Argentina, what a game, what a passion. Totaly deserved win. Luis Scola - this old man is still amazing. Campazzo - impressive performance too. Jokic scored 16 points, but not the best game for him, he spent crucial moments of match on the bench.
@efialtis, I hope you're wrong. We still have powerful teams which can beat US - Spain, France, Australia. Don't crown them to early.

Argentina not just beat Serbia, but they also defeated them by a good margin. I don't know what happened to them, after such a good start in the tournament. Two consecutive defeats - first one to Spain and the second against Argentina.
Now we are left with just Spain to pose a major challenge to the United States. I don't have much hopes for Australia and Argentina. The chances for US have brightened, and Spain is the only team that could prevent them winning this edition of the world cup. Feels bad for teams such as Serbia and Greece... they fought hard... without any luck.

I dont think that Serbia would have matched up well vs the US anyway. This isnt by far the best US but I do like the way they have looked recently. US teams get stronger with each game they play Remember most of these teams play together every year, with the US it's pretty much a new team each tournament so it takes a little while to get. If the US put their best players on the court each year it wouldn't even be fair. |

For example, I am pretty certain that USA will beat France, and Spain will beat Poland, those are looking like sure fire bets however when it comes to Chezchia versus Australia, normally Australia is much better team and they have been playing greatly so far, yet Checzhia was looked down upon and was guessed to not even move out of the group stages yet they are here in quarter finals so I don't know what could happen.
Same with Serbia versus Argentina, it will be the rematch of 2002 which would be really fired up game, Serbia is certainly the better team and will want to win after the Spain upset but Argentina is not a bad team neither.
