that injury needs a almost a year or a year or more recovery, that is not to be taken lightly sadly he needs to leave because of the injury but he might comeback, like RHJ maybe after his recovery he can play again with TNT since he is in contract with them.

Glad to see he is out and the surgery was successful. But that would only work in a conference where there is no height limit, because you know, he is very tall.

They will probably find a local player who can guard or at least limit Brownlee, but I don’t think he will really be limited that much. Even the biggest and tallest imports have failed to stop him before. And with TNT’s new import being inconsistent, I think JBL will come out as the better player in this matchup. He might even win Best Import of the Conference if he continues to deliver.

Can’t wait for Game 1 honestly. When that time comes, I will certainly bet on the Gin Kings to draw first blood.

Ginebra has a bigger fan base than TNT, so it is just right that they are the favorite, and only -2.5 is not too high, because if they win, they will likely cover that spread.

I think in the import matchup, Brownlee is still the better player, and he has been with the team for a while already, while TNT’s import just came in late. Also, it is not really their import carrying the team, it is the locals who are playing well, so that is a big difference.

Yup kabayan, big factor of that win is RHJ he lift TNT in all aspects and with his leadership his entire squad played well, he got that same influence as JBL, but since TNT is playing with a what we call inconsistent import and I'm not sure if Coach Chot will be able to link him to how the team play their system, system and familiarity wise Gin kings have a better edge but still depends on how the players will execute their plays and how they will bring their best to help their team to win.

The line is moving and it is already close to -5.5 now, maybe just late action, but this already tells something about what might happen here.

When I checked, the opening line was only Ginebra -2.5, so that is a huge movement. I have a feeling Ginebra will really take care of Game 1, because if there is no injury or any major news causing that movement, then maybe the TNT side was just a trap.

Of course, nothing is sure, but that kind of line movement is hard to ignore.

Looks like the line movement was correct because Ginebra is now leading by 15 points in the 3rd quarter, and if TNT will not be able to make a comeback here, they will have a hard time in the last quarter. Ginebra’s 3 pt shooting is there, they were able to have a good start and that is why they are still leading, but this game is looking low scoring based on the total that the market offered. Still plenty of time left, but TNT needs to respond soon or Ginebra might fully control this Game 1.

They have responded and even led the game, just that Ginebra responded too from RJ’s two 4-point shots.

It was a winnable game by TNT though, but they failed to defend RJ well. In the end, it was Brownlee who took the winning fadeaway shot and Ginebra won by 2 points.
And because it was just 2 points, those who bet on TNT +2.5 won.

They even led as high as 18 points, I thought it was already a blowout but the 2nd half just belonged to TNT. What could have been an easy win turned out to be a disappointment because even if they won the game, which I did not hope to happen, they were still not able to cover the spread. I wish Brownlee did not make that last shot, because if it went to overtime, there was still a chance that Ginebra would be able to cover the spread.

Sorry mate, the Gin Kings didn't cover the spread. I thought that it would be a blow out win for Ginebra, they lead by as much as 18 points but they squandered that one and almost lost the game, thanks to that 2 booming 4 courtesy of RJ Abarrientos, man he is clutch and wasn't afraid to take those shots, maybe he got the green light to take those kind of shots when open.

With the way they were playing on game 1, i will stick to TNT on the second game. Adjustments will be made and i think this would be a see-saw battle so i will stick to the script hehe.

So the game is tomorrow, Friday, expect that there will be plenty of Ginebra fans, TNT will have to endure that and they need to follow the game plan effectively if they want to win. The current import of TNT is just doing fine, in fact they were able to come back after trailing by a huge margin, so the team is really legit.

Either team, there is no value on it, no way I am getting that at 1.89 max only.

If our sportsbook could offer at least -2.5 for either team, that should give odds over 2.00. For the game tomorrow night, I think it will be a close one, let us not expect that just because Ginebra won Game 1, it will automatically be TNT in Game 2, that would be too lazy kind of analysis.
