I see too much hate on Bol during the last game because he's declined to get interviewed. He's still trying to adjust but with the game that has happened tonight, he's very welcoming and has got into interview and presscon. Got together with the fans and have some picture taking. Our kababayans need to adjust as well, the kind of basketball that he's from is different from the culture we've got. Let's give him some love so that more players from the NBA if asked to play in our league would also love to do that if there's a good experience that they have got, remove about the thinking of how much they are paid to do the job.

Maybe culture? Filipinos are very hospitable and very entertaining. This is why fans are very into their guy/gal and they want to hear on people who they idolize.
but come on, This BOL BOL needs to adjust in time, also we cant take out the issue that this guy who havent played before but his name is the play of our tounge in the social media.

btw, Ginebra! the most favorable team in the PBA won tonight in a neck to neck ball game with converge.
Abbarientos is the best player of the game but lets not forget Brownlee and ROsario who made it possible.

I've read an article that the commissioner's office reprimand Bol2 on his action on their win against NLEX where he refused to be interviewed after the game so i think his actions now is the result of that reprimand from the commissioner. But i agree with you, fans should not be to harsh on Bol2 as the culture from where he came from is very different and there are even reports that Bol2 is an introvert, that might be the reason he is avoiding interviews.

Yes, that might be the cause of the action that he's shown lately and he's correcting it. But there are a lot of our kababayans who were quick to judge the guy. He's from different culture and even with the NBA, he's probably surprised how he's being taken care of and the attention that he's given to. I'm just happy that he's also reacting to the chanting and poking of the fans and even the bench players, this is the kind of basketball that most of us likes. But at the end of the game, it's just a game that we've all enjoyed and continue to love.

Not an easy pick but i'll pick Converge to end their losing streak tonight.

I think that’s a good choice since they have an import who can really dominate inside, and this Converge team, even though young, is stacked with talent. I think after their last loss, it’s time for them to bounce back.

They’re currently leading in the first half, so hopefully they can carry that momentum until the end.

Yup, Converge is a team that is inexperience in terms of winning in the PBA right now and they showed it last night. They just can't sustained and protect their lead while on the other hand, the tandem of Justine Brownlee and RJ Abarrientos who made up 65 points out of 99 of Ginebra really did the damage. I also agree on your observation that the import of Converge is not performing well and for me they need to change their import if they wan't to go deep in the playoffs.

Because this is what they see and people judge easily on what they see on screen, but they didn't bother to know the real reason if Bol Bol really have intention to do that. But infairness to Bol Bol he manage to correct his past actions and agree to be interviewed by media.

Even if they say that there's issue with play style of Bol Bol still we can see that for all games he played he's consistently providing great performance for his team. What coaches need to do is to make sure that he can adopt on the rotation and be comfortable with their plays. I watch PBA again because he's quiet fun to watch.

What happened to Mikey Williams, I thought he was supposed to make this Converge team stronger. So far, we’re not really seeing the production people expected from him. I can’t even remember a game where he dropped 20+ points.

Right now, he looks a bit overhyped. He can still be a decent PG, but the team is struggling overall. Especially in crucial moments, that’s where they’ve been losing games.

I didn’t really expect this to happen, especially with the hype around Calvin Abueva joining the team. He hasn’t played yet from what I know, so it seems like they really need him on the floor to bring that energy to the team.

Another issue is they don’t seem to trust their import that much. He went 6/6 in the last game, but he’s only getting limited touches. I’m not sure what the plan is, but maybe they should try to dominate the paint more since they have young bigs who can handle it.

Everything was wasted, and I think they won’t change their import, what they really need to change is their system. They have a lot of players who can contribute offensively, but that also makes them hesitant at times.

They don’t seem to have a clear go-to player who can consistently carry the team every game. Even their bigs are not that effective because the import is the one doing most of the work inside. Unfortunately, their system just isn’t in sync right now, and that’s obvious with their losing streak.

2nd game: SMB-12 vs Macau+12

These two games are quite interesting for me, the first game i think will be a close game since the import of Blackwater is performing well on his last game and he is so huge that he can't be bullied in the middle but on the other hand, ROS confidence as a team is high after that win against Meralco where they played without an import so i'm going for them.

Rain or Shine is now harvesting the power they are prepaing, its been years that they are nourishing those young guns and now they even won with out an import due to suspension. I hope thier reinforcement foreign player learned from it and will not try to over puhs his temper again.

For that game 1 I will definitely go with the ROS -8 as for game 2, I am not sure if the SMB will have heir new import to play, Can SMB dominate the game with Macau even with out an import? well, I will go with SMB with or with out.

There must be a schedule change because of the Holy Week. As the announcer said, games will resume on Sunday, so it’s not the usual schedule. For this game, SMB won by a huge margin, and as usual, Team Macau struggled again and is still winless so far. The question now is, will they even manage to get at least one win.

The Beermen had a new import, Justin Patton who in this game delivered impressive numbers, 24 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals and he is the biggest factor why the Beermen won their match against the Macau Black Bears. With Patton in town i think the Beermen got a chance of making it to the semis this conference as from what i have seen tonight, he and Junemar Fajardo will be a deadly tandem in the middle though it is early yet to say that he is that good but i have high hopes on him.

As for the Black Bears, i think they can get their win against a low-tier team in the PBA. It might be against Blackwater or Titan Ultra.

That’s correct, it looks like their import is really big and can help a lot on defense. Based on his numbers, that’s already impressive as an all-around player. The points and rebounds alone stand out, and adding 3 steals is another big factor. So I have high expectations for this import. Hopefully SMB has finally found the right one for their team.

As for the Black Bears, i think they can get their win against a low-tier team in the PBA. It might be against Blackwater or Titan Ultra.
