The guy who’s supposed to complement JMF is still inconsistent, and that’s CJ Perez.
If they manage to keep JMF limited because of foul trouble, Ginebra could realistically take this series.  

I do notice that too, CJ Perez needs to provide whenever JMF is not getting the ball, he needs to keep attacking and make those numbers to help winning the game.

That -5.5 looks pretty high, especially after SMB lost Game 1. Makes you wonder what that line is really implying.

I tried to browse the 2up casino to look for the PBA betting odds but i didn't find any. Anyways, i'll just use the local bookies for PBA games. For tonight i think the Beermen will bounce back for their lose in game 1 and for sure adjustments will be made especially to RJ Abarrientos who exploded for 26 points in game 1, he will be a marked man for tonight's game.

Cooking shows are already a normal thing in the PBA. If there’s another one tonight, it actually favors SMB with that -5.5 spread. That number looks big, so most bettors will probably take Ginebra just because of the points.

I’d do the same, but what worries me is if the line moves back to -3.5. If that happens, it usually means some sharps are countering the action. Most of these live line movements are driven by sharp money, because public bettors won’t easily take a high spread after seeing how Ginebra won Game 1.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even mind if the line moved higher, like -10.5. That would pretty much signal SMB is expected to win by double digits or even rout Ginebra. Timing looks good too, early game, no Ginebra crowd, SMB can just focus and play their game.

Gin kings got a good early start but 2nd half is for SMB, JMF shows his dominance inside with more than 20 points and rebounds and the magic hugot for this game is Teng providing that intensity to help SMB to gain the momentum and manage to complete the win with his 13 points contributions and those tight defense and good sets of plays and assists that's something that coach Leo needed and he fill that space for Cruz and Ross.

I was a bit nervous when Ginebra was leading in the first half, but once SMB took the lead in the third quarter, I already knew how the script was going to play out.

Already did, and yeah, I enjoyed how that game played out. It wasn’t that easy, but I felt pretty confident SMB would win and cover. Everything just seemed to fall into place there. The second game though, that one was way easier. I’m guessing a lot of bettors were already celebrating since TNT -2.5 ended up being a no-sweat win.

Sure did, but this series isn’t over yet. Yeah, TNT dominated the last two games, so Game 3 is really important.
I’m honestly tempted to go big on Game 3 because it feels like the fix is coming in, not necessarily for the whole game, but more on a quarter-by-quarter basis.

Betting per quarter might actually make sense here. Whatever the spread is, you take the first quarter. If Meralco wins, you’re done. If they lose, you double on the second quarter, and so on. Sounds simple, and it feels like it could work, especially since Game 3 is basically do-or-die for Meralco. No team has ever come back from a 0–3 deficit anyway.

Congrats mga kabayan! SMB and TNT managed to win with a good and covered handicap, both shows solid game with TNT and Meralco series that's 2 more game for TNT while with SMB and Gin kings, that's reset the series more games means more time to bet for everyone.

Junmar fajardo's another 20-20 night for the game 2. GINKINGS managed to control the gmae with 11 points lead but the beermen with their lucky bunot Teng won the game.
FOr the second game, TNT dictate the game and won with big lead. telling Meralco that this series is owned by TNT.

Game 1 was already a statement that TNT is just too strong for Meralco. Even though Meralco led big early, they couldn’t hold it and TNT still took the win.

I honestly don’t know what Meralco can do in Game 3. Game 2 showed that their strategy clearly didn’t work. Maybe they just need to take it one game at a time, win Game 3 first, and see if this series can become interesting again.

At this point, I’m just hoping they can somehow make it competitive. Otherwise, TNT will finish this early and just wait for whoever comes out of SMB vs Ginebra.

If I’m backing Meralco here, I’d rather take them on the moneyline. This is the first game at 5:15 PM, don’t miss it.

I get the possibility now, but I’d rather just stay away from this game. I already have a series bet on TNT to win, so I’m fine if Meralco loses.

If Meralco wins though, that’s okay too, a longer series isn’t bad. In the end, I still like TNT to take it, and maybe even back them to win the finals. If I were to place a bet on this game at all, I’d probably look at the under, especially TNT’s team total.

I’d do the same bet too, because SMB already has the momentum. It’s also a Friday game, so there probably won’t be that many Ginebra fans watching. 

But if this was on a Sunday, which I think is the schedule for Game 4, then I’d lean the other way and say Ginebra takes it. Feels like the script is SMB grabbing the series lead tonight, then Ginebra evening it up on Sunday. This matchup looks like it’s headed for a Game 7.

The other semifinal though, that one’s pretty boring in comparison.
