The recent hack of Binance exchange is a good example of this question.. when the heck happens in just a single user's account, it is the responsibility of that individual because it would be assumed that they didn't take the neccessary steps to secure their accounts but when the hack is concentrated on the whole exchange or a large number of users, the exchange usually shoulders the blame.

I canmot really blame you or the website, until i investigate where the cause came from because:
1. It could be you allowing hackers in for not setting 2fa or the hacker hacked your phone to get your pwords and 2fa
2. It could be that the website was hacked.
In the second case, it won't be only one account, it is usually a pack of accounts with stolen funds.

In any case. STAY SAFE
Be careful, nothing is safe on the internet. This problem is complex, even though we provide multiple security, such as 2Fa, mobile phone, and email authorization, but if hackers are able to hack our device then it will all be in vain. Avoid phishing websites by marking original websites that we often visit with bookmarks or shortcuts. Avoid storing large amounts of assets in the wallet exchange. The rest, pray to avoid theft.

You if you didn't take care of security, exchange — if negligence was on it's end and of course the hacker who let go of his morals.

Some tips : 1) Use 2fa 2) Use strong password (use password manager) 3)Don't have your email's 2fa code linked to your mobile number. 4) If you don't actively trade then put your funds in hardware wallet

internet hacking is nothing new anymore so is wallet hacking or bank account hacks, whatever happens to your wallet or your accounts you are the one responsible for it,to avoid this you have to be fully prepared and watch your steps in other not to do any silly mistakes like falling for phishing links or mistakenly expose your private keys

Most hacking that has been not been through exchange which we could claim exchanges responsible for as to actually do with negligence of people, and they are quite weak with their security keys, and not only security keys like you said, but fail to make use of stringer security tools available at their disposal.

One thing that usually teach people lesson is experience, I did not get to take all these security issues too serious until someone tried hacking into my hacking, I was just lucky that I was fast enough, otherwise, it would have really been a bitter experience, it was at that point that I started outing all the available security tools like 2fa and the rest into consideration, but we don’t really have to wait for that before we start making use of those important tools.

if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

I think it's yours because hackers might got your account details due to your lack of security and privacy. Perhaps you wasn't able to put another security layer for your email account or on something else. To make your account safe, store the rest of your funds in a cold wallet. However if you're using your funds for trading actively, then use 2fa and strong password. Instead of storing your account details online, try to keep it offline like writing it on a paper/notebook or something.

If hacking happens to our account / wallet, of course this is our own fault because the password that we use is very weak and vulnerable to hacking and because of that we have to do extra security in account and also our personal wallet, such as linking with cellphone number, 2FA (goggle aunthicator) and others.

In a situation where your account was hacked, its best to see it as your fault, because its your responsibility to protect your account utilising all the security measures in place such as the strong passwords, 2FA, etc. In securing your account, no stone should be left unturned.

Due to current realities, when almost all crypto exchanges are centralized, one cannot do without it. The second culprit, of course, is the exchange itself, which allowed itself to be hacked.
The question is of course interesting, I would even say that it is slightly philosophical. But if you look in detail, then the responsibility always lies primarily with the owner of the assets.

I think no one will be responsible for you. because if hackers hacked the entire exchange system, exchange management side will offer compensation plan.
If only your account is hacked, it is your fault. or you revealed your password or something.

Accurate, detailed analysis, the mistake in this case almost belongs to us and we will be responsible for this loss because codes and secret questions, it's always under our control and scope, we even use it every day, if it's leaked, we should be the first one to responsibility. Blaming a system or an exchange is impossible when I believe that they almost always ask us to improve security through multiple layers, and if we did everything but our account was still hacked, the system and the exchange would be responsible for this but this case is very rare and they often compensate for all damages

Obviously I would say its your mistake you can not blame exchange until and unless exchange hacked. In most of the cases our accounts gets hacked due to our negligence. We should implement all the security measures on our account to avoid hacking because one negligency can cost our account and apart from this avoid clicking link from unknown sources.

All exchanges have an option to secure your account like two-factor authentication, email verifications, or text verification, there is no way for the hacker, to hack your account if your account is fully secure.
people should educate himself on how to secure his computer, his wallet and his account on exchanges before accumulating coins, this is a must or you will find yourself with nothing left.

Exchanges like coinbase are very secure and it is highly impossible for your assets to be missing except the whole exchange is under attack which is not your fault.
But if your account was hacked then it is either you mistakenly submitted your password on a website or you fell victim of phishing scam, both of which you are responsible.

Mathematically it is impossible to get hacked, so probably you made a mistake and hacker was enough smart.
In the future - I believe that blockchain analysing companies will be able to track the hacker, but currently it is almost impossible.

In the title of the topic it has been said "IF" I also think so, Indeed it is not possible in an exchange. Only if it really happened, who will be responsible for the problem.
What is the exchange party?
or our own fault?

And for security on the account, of course you have to add Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

Sorry man, but this business is cruel, and it is almost impossible to catch the hacker who did this because of the diversity and the roots of this business that spread across the globes. The hackers do this; they exploit even the slightest inch of weakness that you will have and rob you. Just take the right precautions, do all the security checks, and make sure the wallet and exchange provide some kind of additional security. Best of luck mate!

You are the only one who knows the private key of your wallet so it is your fault.
If the account wallet is under exchange then you can contact them to figure out what happened.
It is a mistake from the hacker that your account is the target (JK)
If you will download some wallet make sure that it is safe to have.

If someone account got hacked then it is a fault of account holder that he have not take all security measures to secure his credentials to enter in his account and do any transaction. Hackers can enter in only those accounts whose security can be breached and it is our duty to fully secure our all information.

Losing money or coins is something everyone doesn't want. You must confirm with the Exchange team on which you are registered. If they do not respond, I think you have not been lucky. With such incidents can be a valuable lesson for you. For the next, you have to trade in exchange which has excellent security.
