This is quite good advice and yet this is true. Probably even 1% chances of winning will not give accurate assurance about the chances of winning. I personally gamble in our local lottery but I won't attract an online gambling lottery because I did not see there a provability fair game. It can be manipulated through the system. I would rather choose based on skills online gambling just like playing cards especially poker and I would rather gamble dice game rather than a lottery.

We cant be sure that draws are fair but what if its totally randomize? I don't believe those common number matters because everything would be random and

When I want to buy the ticket in the lottery, I will ask my friends if they're going to join me or not. And if they want, we collect the money in me so then I can buy the ticket and share to them. So from your logic, there is also no good in taking insurance policy. Only 0.2-0.25% people actually claim insurance money, rest of the premium goes unused. But still taking insurance policy provides safety against unforeseen circumstances.
Similarly, lottery can also turn someone future without denting wallet much. Imagine buying $1 lottery ticket and winning $100K! I won't regred spending such $1 even though winning probability is just 0.001%.

So I've been wondering a lot time now why some people choose to play lottery which is made in such a way that it's statistically impossible to win and not any other game that gives about 49% chance to win? In online crypto-gambling there are a lot of such services.

Personally I'd advice against gambling overall (ye I know I wear a gambling signature at the moment!) but if someone insists on playing something without thinking or using skills, then why not buy a random stock? That'd give them 50% chance to win and with some research they could increase this chance.

In my opinion this happens because most people are greedy and lazy, many people have dreams of being rich and making a lot of money and there is nothing wrong with that but they do not want to go through all the efforts needed to build that kind of fortune, so instead of trying to formulate a plan to become wealthy on their own they prefer to play the lottery and they imagine that some day their dreams will come true, but we know that even if they won the lottery since they do not know the effort needed to earn that money that they will be bankrupt in just a few years.

The reason why other people chose lottery instead of other gambling games because of minimal losses which you can only bet in a low price and you can win a huge amount of money, but it is very difficult to win in a lottery because it is all about probability or chances that you should be good in predicting the results.
