yeah that's big money for third world countries like mine but we are talking about '1 whole year here' while in other form of gambling you can spend 10-100$ per game and may be even bigger sometimes

I don't consider one form of gambling more respectable than the other because gambling is gambling and one will lose money. From my point of view, these different types of gambling are just different ways invented by business owners to get the money out of gamblers’ pockets. The big difference with lotto in comparison to other gambling games is that the prize is so huge while at the same time the "bet" is almost trivial. Even the poor can afford to buy a single lotto a day. I doubt any of them have enough money to simply walk into a casino.

Actually one of the reason is that there are many people who do not have skills of betting and do not know much tricks so they just opt for the lottery. They know that one will win in this and even for myself I consider lottery a little bit better as sometimes in betting and other games of gambling I may think that I lost because I do not know much.

but your point is good for me extracting the reason why we need to bet in lottery though the chance of winning is next to impossible yet considering as donation is the best answer i have learn and from now on?i will be betting just to donate ang if i win then that would be a bonus
