Barcelona was struggling to score but the defend of Cadiz was very strong, infact at a time they were playing defense game.

I do not know how it was possible that with such an overwhelming advantage, at least in all the statistics, Barcelona showed a lack of any effectiveness.

Cadiz played solidly enough that the Barcelona squad struggled to get the best chances, the tiki-taka pass did not manage to outwit the opponent, although Dembele shot hard every time to hit Cadiz. Xavi underestimated a weaker club, Gonzalez's team was able to pressure him even if indirectly. It's like taking advantage when the opponent is off guard. Actually, it does make a pretty big difference. Imagine Barcelona losing with Real Sociedad and then with Rayo. And at the same time, Sevilla and Atletico are winning their matches. If such a scenario had happened, Barcelona would be in 4th position. With another defeat with Mallorca and if Real Betis gonna win all games, Barcelona drop to position 5.

Barca just had really hard luck tonight, really hard luck. Nevertheless, it is very disgraceful to have so much ball possession but poor chances creation. It is not a shit match, Barcelona played like usual but they seem to underestimate Cadiz. We can see that Aubameyang was on the bench, Xavi may think they can win without Aubameyang. In reality, Xavi was wrong, which leads to another defeat, sadly this defeat was in their home. I think Xavi must take a big lesson from this match.

Honestly, I’m not surprised with this result. This Cadiz side had played a goalless draw in the first leg against Barcelona and Real Madrid. They’re fearless, so I don’t see how I’ll be surprised. Barcelona tried to assert their dominance on the game, but were unable to carve out any significant chances for the rest of the half. Cadiz was too good at the back. I watch 90 minutes with 7 minutes additional time not seeing any great attempt created by Barcelona last night, I know with several saves made by Cadiz goal keeper but looks Barcelona less dominance how effective created attempt last night, actually Cadiz make great chance but impressive performance from Marc-André ter Stegen and several bad finish from Cadiz forward make only one goal success created last night. I think have to change with Barcelona games play not always with ball possession dominance but also how effective with create attempt on every match.
