I was wondering whether Sevilla were going to be able to keep the 2-0 lead to the end. It would have been really interesting to see them defeating Real Madrid in that game. But Real Madrid were just superb in the second half and made an incredible comeback against their opponent. They got a really valuable 3-2 win there and secured themselves in the standings even more. And seeing Barcelona losing to Cadiz in a home game was just astonishing to me. It was a game that they should have been able to win easily.

It was unexpected for many, and that is normal as they played against the number 18. It was also bad against Frankfurt, but it could still be argued that they were playing against their own audience. This was a very different story for the competition. They have put in a good series, that's why they are still 2nd and I suspect they will also be 2nd. The difference with Real Madrid over the whole season was big. but Barcelona only started to play better under Xavi. For Cadiz, these 3 points were rally very important. They jumped to the 16th spot.

for Cadiz this victory is very important for them to stay away from the relegation zone but for Barcelona it is very unfortunate because this defeat they are certainly no longer possible to catch Real Madrid at the top of the table and also I think the mentality and confidence of the Barcelona players is very disturbed and decreased because of the elimination they are in the Europa League.

No doubt this win is game changer for them and now with this win they can be alive in this league for another season because this win can bring some positive change in this team, and they can do much better than expectations. But surely a big below for Barcelona after losing quarter-final against Frankfurt this is second lost in a row with this now they are no able to catch leaders Real Madrid which is clearly 15 points up from them and can win title in next two games.

Now after having two back to back the worst results, surely Xavi will check his mistakes and change them into next games because now it's very important for them to settle before they have gone in wrong way on crucial time of this season.

Today we have two games in this league first between Betis vs Elche and second a derby which is playing between Villarreal vs Valencia in the first game Betis is having some better control but still after 60 minutes they fail to produce any good chance for themselves and score board showing 0 - 0 which is not good for them as they already out of top four after having very amazing start of this season if today they fail to produce any good chance then surely they can drop out from this position as well because Real Sociedad and Villarreal both are trying their best for achieving higher rank before end of this season and book their place for Europa Cup in next season.

In the second match home team Villarreal is already leading by 2 - 0 at the end of first half and most chances they will keep this lead try to have some better result before there a very crucial match against Liverpool in Champions League semifinal.

Real Madrid once again showed their identity as a big team and with a winning mentality when they traveled to Sevilla where the los galacticos had to admit Sevilla's advantage in the first half where they were forced to concede two goals.but real Madrid was different from the story in the first half where they managed to beat the hosts Sevilla with a final score of 2-3 while making them closer to the Spanish league title this season, especially since their rivals Barcelona had to lose against cadiz

The 2 goals scored by Danjuma in the 10' and 17' minutes really made Villareal lead the match well. looks like in the second half he will score another goal and make a hat-trick. My prediction, Villareal will definitely win with a score of 3-0.

Villareal are in great form, and I believe more goals will be scored in the second half of the match. Valencia's hopes of playing in the Europa League next season are almost dead, because a win against Villareal would move them a point closer, but they will remain in 10th place because I believe they will lose this match.

Cadiz at Camp Nou, Barcelona suffered a defeat, even though Cadiz was a weak team that almost entered the relegation zone. I hope Xavi can
motivate Barcelona players to recover soon and be able to show their best form again.

Experiencing 2 losses in the sequence is really bad for Barcelona. But, actually, Barcelona is a big club, it shouldn't be a  big matter and the players should be well motivated again because there are still many matches forward. Although they have lost hopes to bring any trophy, at least, they should play their best to prove that the club is still a big club and they are not suffering any worse situation again. Yes, I also believe that Xavi can lead the team better again later.

A very disappointed result for Betis as very late goal from Tete give them a shocking defeat at home with this now there are chances for them to dropped out from top six as few other teams are doing much better and can achieve this spot which could be a big setback for them after having very good season at top. Overall Betis play a very good game but sadly fail to convert their chances and Elche having only one shot on goal in all match and convert this into winner goal is amazing from them with this win now they are in safe zone and can go through into middle of league table.

Villarreal having very good match against Valencia with this win now they can feel much better as now they are going to face giants Liverpool into Champions League semifinal.

3 games played today and the unexpected result was in Betis match where they was defeated by Elche with 1 goal. The gap might get bigger between them and ATM and Sevilla since their games are relatively easier this round. They might keep their rank in the other hand since Sociedad will play against Barcelona which I doubt they will lose this time.

I admit that yesterday's defeat of Barcelona is a great surprise for me. Until the match against Eintracht, Barcelona looked better and better from match to match. Could it be the first crisis during Xavi's tenure?
Barcelona's point loss can be used by Betis today, who should beat Elche. In this case, 4 teams vying for the runner-up will have 60 points each. The end of the season is going to be very interesting.

Yea, I think the elimination from the Europa competition played a physiological effects on the heads of the players, and he cause them to loss shockingly to Cadiz, I think Xavi Hernandez need to motivate his players to move on, giving them good reason to finish the season strongly, I think they have been winning games, I think it was eleven straight consecutive games won before that lose in the Europa League against Frankfurt so they need to try and move on and end the season on a high.

I think it is about the momentum and eventual loss. They have been beating everyone for so long that eventually it was expected of them to start losing. First it was Frankfurt, now it's Cadiz.

I am not saying that they will keep on losing, maybe they won't lose another game until the season ends, but it was always obvious that they couldn't handle a win streak up until the season ends. They had a great great run, maybe they are out of europa which is a bad thing but they shouldn't have been there to begin with so that's fine in my mind, and they will probably be second in the league anyway which is the best case considering how they started the league.

You are absolutely right that Barcelona as a big club and has quite a lot of star players, should be able to bounce back in the next game.
Moreover, Xavi as Barcelona's main coach has proven enough to make Barcelona look extraordinary at least from the beginning of this year.
Unfortunately, this is Xavi's first season as Barcelona coach. So Xavi still has to adapt first and improve a few things so that Barcelona can perform
even better. Therefore, even though this season Barcelona did not get any trophies, but next season I'm optimistic Barcelona will play much better
and maybe Xavi can help Barcelona win trophies.

Excellent results Villarreal can continue their positive trend, having previously beaten Getafe. And now that Villarreal have won against Valencia,
Villarreal's winning streak really helped them to catch up to Real Sociedad's points, so that Villarreal at least this season can be in the top 6.

Yes you are right, defeat is not something strange that every team can experience this defeat doesn't have any effect either
Barcelona can still end the season in the top 4 and more importantly prepare plans for the future overhauling the defense line for example
Because I think the defense is Barcelona's only weakness they need better.

Barcelona's performance under Xavi Hernandez so far has not been disappointing although they will certainly not win a single title in domestic or European competitions.but the performance shown by Marcelona is far better than the Ronald Koeman era, this is proven by Xavi Hernandez where at this time he succeeded in bringing Barcelona back to the top, of course next year where the burden will be on Xavi Hernandez's shoulders to bring Barcelona back to the path of winning at least 1 title

Mallorca - Alaves
Currently Mallorca managed to shoot 2 goals sweetly, the opportunity was not missed at all, Alaves are now further away from getting out of the relegation zone. By the way today there will be another match between Betis-Elche, Will Betis be able to win and get 3 points to get closer to the 3 competitors or can Elche hold Betis chance with a Draw?

Mallorca team embraced the opportunity to defeated Alaves 2-1 for the favour of Mallorca. Mallorca players really demonstrated a positive strategies in the first half that made people to concluded that the match will end up for the favour of Mallorca because of the tactics they were using to play Alaves  in the first half without giving them a chance to achieve any goal from the match. Betis players tried their possible best to make the match 1-1 draw but Elche players maintain the one goal through out the match that gave them victory at the end of the match.

The Real Betis team lost 1-0 to Elche. I thought maybe Real Betis would fight Atletico Madrid for fourth place in the points table. But after the defeat against Elche their chances of qualifying for the Champions League have further diminished. Real Betis attacked a lot against Elche. But they could not score due to a lack of experienced strikers. And so in the home match, Betis lost to the weak Elche.

Now the top four teams in the points table will be able to qualify for the Champions League. Real Betis might have qualified, they have played well in several matches. But as a team, they are not playing well on regular basis. They have lost points in the last two matches. And if Real Sociedad can win their next match, Real Betis will be one step behind in the points table. Villarreal, on the other hand, is in good form now. They will also continue to try to get to the top of the table.

Barcelona's defeat against Cadiz and also being knocked out of Frankfurt in the Europa league may be very painful for Barcelona but it is not entirely Xavi Hernandez's fault he has completely formed a very solid Barcelona team where Barcelona are now so comfortable in second place and automatically qualify for the Champions League next season even though they did not get the title this season, of course next year will be a priority for Barcelona to win the title because now Xavi Hernandez has got good information to undergo a match

For the match later Atlético Madrid will finish with a win over Granada. I am very confident in that result.

Atletico Madrid have a good chance of finishing second in the standings. I think they should have no problem taking advantage of it by beating Granada. But they need to score as many goals as possible, because Sevilla can also get into second place tomorrow if they beat Levante. With Barcelona I think it's not clear-cut, they will play Real Sociedad tomorrow and it's not sure they'll win.
