Strong game by Valencia and after a long time they won three games in a row. I hope they will join at least Conference League next season. I miss watching them in European competitions. Javi Guerra came from the second team and adapted to the team well. Hugo Duro scored his eighth goal. These guys are young talents, Valencia can build a good team around them. The future looks bright.

Valencia are getting closer from that spot but If you take a closer look you will find out that these top teams all deserve to be in UEFA competitions.. Top four will most likely end in UEFA Champions League and at worst another in Conference League..
Real Sociedad and Betis, in addition to Atletico Madrid will end up in Europa or Conference League. These teams miss points from time to time but don't expect them to let Valencia took their hardworking places.

Most likely? I think it is already known that the top four will play the Champions League. One club will go into the Europa League and one club will play in the Conference League. Unfortunately Girona failed to score against Almeria yesterday and played a goal-less draw, so they could only earn one point... This was of course a good game by Real Madrid, I am not going to say anything about that part but at the same time I feel like it was a horrible horrible game by Barcelona's defensive line.

I mean the goals were not goals that a team that good should have conceded, it is really not looking all that good for them. They do not have defense that could go out against these big clubs anymore and they need to do better. I know that it can't be done quickly so they will need to spend some time, but next season, basically this summer, they really need to start hiring some defensive players. That has to be the most important part. I know it's tough, but it can be done and I believe that it is going to be the most important part of their improvement. Don't look for scorers, look for defense because their defense sucks.
