So far we have seen Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the La Liga table. But this season, the Girona team has been at the top of the table for a long time, surprising everyone. For Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, they have only played 20 times.  This means they have 1 game less. For Madrid they are only 1 point apart, meaning that if they win in week 21 then Real Madrid will return to Number 1.

I hope Girona continues to perform consistently like when they beat their opponents in previous matches to give competition to Real Madrid. It must be admitted that Real Madrid toughest rival this season is not Barcelona or Real Madrid, the surprise given by Girona has added spice to this season's competition. Last season Dovbyk's name was barely heard of and football fans did not see him as a classy player, but this season his name has been frequently exposed in the media because of his involvement in bringing Girona to victory.

Girona's performance is getting stronger by the day. I have only  seen Girona play poorly in two  games this season. The team's performances against Real Madrid and Almeria were poor. They lost against Madrid and shared the points with Almeria. Girona  also drew three more  matches, but their performance was good enough. And so it can be easily assumed  that if the players of the team can maintain the consistency of such performance  then they are the worthy claimants of the La Liga title. However  their main rival Real Madrid is  very strong and experienced. They  will not want to miss out on the La Liga title in any way. Real Madrid will continue to make maximum efforts to win the title.

If we were to talk about a favorite between the two teams, my option would be Real Madrid, but Girona is also playing the matches with not bad performances. Considering that they are the only team pushing Real Madrid, this year is a really good season for Girona. All European teams should follow Girona's great form. With what I've seen so far,Girona is more favourite for the tittle than Real Madrid who most people see as the favourite.I have seen Girona's strength and weaknesses,and I have also seen that their strength lies in their attack line,they are very offensive in nature,and can get as many goals as possible,as long as they get the chances.Mean while,Madrid are very solid defensively,but are making use of their wings to get goals. Bellingham is the sharpest player in the squad despite the fact that he isn't a striker.The league is still very open for any of the teams,but I'm optimistic to me that Girona will win.

For me personally, Real Madrid remains the title favourite this season despite the fact that Girona are also still very good and strong to be able to compete for the title. But yes, because I also consider about Real Madrid who have a good winning mentality then yes, with that factor then of course Real Madrid still have a better chance to still get the La Liga trophy this season. But indeed, when considering Girona's success so far this season, at least I also have hope that La Liga has a new winner, and Girona have that chance this season although of course it will never be easy at all.
