How can you be this bad against the last team in the standings? Girona aren't one of the big teams in the league normally maybe but we all know how they are playing this season. There must be many people who bet on Girona as it was an easy game but lost at the end. 

Almost everyone is focused on Real Madrid's victory in the Super Cup and forget that Girona only drew yesterday this means that Real Madrid has a good chance of securing first position in the standings Real Madrid will lead by 2 points if they win their next match. We really didn't expect Girona unable to beat Almeria even though Almeria is the weakest team in this league, what was even more surprising was that Almeria was able to control the attack at least 20 shots are recorded in the statistics while Girona only had 5 shots.

The focus of fans on the Real Madrid vs Barcelona game instead of the outcome of Girona's game with Almera is because the former is presupposed to be an El-Classico whenever the two teams meet but the repeated underperformance of Barcelona to series of shameful defeats by Real Madrid since Messi left the club has made the El-Classico not worth the attention it before received.

Girona shocked a lot of gamblers including myself who had confident on the capacity of their current form on handling Almera taking the three points in that game without stress juxtaposing their position on the table with that of Almera. I lost some money on that game betting in favour of Girona to win the match it was so disappointing going through the statistics of the game at full-time Girona. The excuse could have been that they had a 10  man team due to Garcia receiving a red card but that was at the 80th minutes.

Girona played very well, I watched the match but luck is a very influential factor in football and that is what Girona experienced when they visited Almeria's headquarters. can respond to this result positively and not repeat it in the next match.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid's big win in the final was not a surprise because Barcelona were really in a slump this season so they could easily be beaten by Real Madid.

I didn't watch this match but I can check the match statistics from what I can see Girona didn't really play well imagine in 90 minutes of the match Girona only had 1 shot on target so what they do for 90 minutes? I think this is Girona's worst match so far because usually they play aggressively especially against weak teams, or maybe Girona underestimated their opponent? This is clearly a loss for Girona and Real Madrid will take advantage of this moment while Girona needs more effort to take their place at the top of the standings. Girona can still do it on February 11 if they can beat Real Madrid.

Congratulations to the Supercopa champions, Real Madrid!

I still can't believe that the match was considered finished when the first half ended because with Barcelona's defensive blunders, Real Madrid was able to score 2 quick goals and here Vini has scored a brace in the early minutes. It didn't stop there and even though Lewandowski shortened the score with a hard kick from outside the penalty box, it wasn't enough to bring Barcelona back. After that, it was Araujo's turn to foul Vini in the defensive area and I asked who would take the penalty kick considering that Luka Modric was still on the bench. Surprisingly, the kick was taken by Vini and he shot his shot towards the right of the goal guarded by Inaki Pena and at the same time closed the first half with a hat trick which he scored.

After that the match continued and in the second half Barcelona still couldn't penetrate Real Madrid's goal which was guarded by Lunin and even though they often had opportunities, Lunin managed to thwart them all. Real Madrid attacked again and it was a counter attack and Barcelona didn't seem to have learned how to prevent players with the high speed that Real Madrid has and thanks to an assist from Vini, Rodrygo scored the 4th goal and at the same time it was a landslide victory in the Supercopa final.

A little note, several Barcelona players made fatal blunders and especially for Kounde he was a problem with the goals scored by Vini and Rodrygo and I think Xavi has to improve his defense after this if he still wants to compete. Araujo also received a red card for fouling Vini twice and had to be sent off, which made Barcelona's defense even more devastated and they conceded a goal.

The match that Real Madrid played yesterday was the epitome of what it means to be Real Madrid. The players gave an excellent performance, and I was surprised that Real Madrid scored three goals before the half, one of which was scored by Vini Jr. Vini Jr. used Barcelona to set a record that Cristiano Ronaldo had never done for Real Madrid; by scoring three goals before the half, and against one of the best teams in the world, Barcelona, Vini Jr. truly deserves the number 7 shirt that he wears.

Many fans are criticising the coach for Barcelona's performance, but I would like to know if the coach or the players were at fault in the game. Since there is no other player that the coach will substitute to allow Barcelona to score goals against Real Madrid, I believe that Barcelona's formation is excellent and that the players he selected for the team are the best players for Barcelona. Therefore, I do not hold the coach responsible for Barcelona's loss. Real Madrid is playing with a lot of heart, and they take advantage of the situation to score goals early on. Barcelona's only option at this point is to acquire new players, even if it means taking a loan; otherwise, their performance won't change.

Vini Jr.'s performance was legendary. Being the first Brazilian to score a hat-trick in El Clasico is impressive. This is notable for its timing and style of scoring. Along with his jersey number and CR7 celebration, his first goal felt like a passing of the mantle.

I was also fascinated by the tactical aspect. Real Madrid's Brazilian-led attack destroyed Barcelona's defence.
