In the Champions League I would be blown away if they made it into the final. I can look at it from many perspectives, but in the quarterfinals and semifinals they will meet at least one team that will eliminate them.

Tho coach Michel Sanchez is doing pretty well and giving in a vibe of Xabi Alonso. With not a star filled in the team, they have worked out to create more of a balanced and synchronized team than any other.
I don't think they're going to be a match to Real Madrid but they'll sure would qualify for the next Champions league.

I think it's always hard to say anything definitive about any team before they finish the season. Things can change during the rest of the season and Girona and all the other teams will too. It is still possible for Girona to lose their place in the top 4 if during the rest of the season they lose a lot of points.
