The fact is that Real Madrid has lost a lot of points to low table teams. This can not be ignored. I think at one point they were even leading by a good margin, only to drop the lead to Barcelona. What is funny is that Real Madrid most of the time managed to beat their major rivals (Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Seville) but then end up dropping points to the likes of Mallorca. This is similar to no work done! This season, Barça rarely loses points to such clubs.

Real Madrid plays not as consistent as in the previous season. Yes, they can win against strong rivals but then they miss points against small teams. I think one of the factors is Benzema can't play at his best form again as the last season. Benzema also more often gets injured during this season. The injured problem affects his performance seriously, he can't maintain his best form. When Real Madrid was defeated by Mallorca, you must realize that Benzema as absent from that match. Without Benzema, Real Madrid still can play offensively but they seem hard to make goals. I think it is time for Real Madrid to sign a new top striker, they mustn't too rely on Benzema anymore for the next season.

Benzema has started to get injured more frequently these days. This time he has muscle fatigue and I don't know when he will be able to return.

Maybe he gets injured often but it doesn't last long at least. Real Madrid really need him though. His productivity is really important for the team. But even in his absence Real Madrid are actually strong enough to beat smaller teams. But they have made simple mistakes in some games which led to unexpected results. Injury prone Karim Benzema is now 35 years old, and his contract is going to end after end of this season which mean most chances Real Madrid is not going to extend his contract and after this season they will go for the new striker even they have few youngsters but still they will bring something special with few are already under their radar but until last day no one can give any prediction who is coming and how things will go.

Carlos Ancelotti is doing good job, but this is wired why he has no player for the running season even all were aware of Karim Benzema situation, and they were defending two titles but still have no suitable replacement which create some mess up for them in middle of this season.

Losing is normal for all but people consider losing is abnormal with Real Madrid. They forgot that winning a match is less important than winning a battle, a league at the end. If Real Madrid lose a few matches which sounds terrible but if at the season ending, they can win the La Liga crown, it is like winning a battle and it is enough.

Real Madrid have a important two weeks because they will have to maintain gap with Barcelona in La Liga and best reduce the gap, meanwhile they must avoid injuries on their players because Champions League knock-out matches are coming very closely. Actually for old players if they are overstretched it is definitely like that, but on the other hand we also have to know that sometimes the body condition of old players can actually be rare for injuries and there are still many players who are almost the same age but they are not too prone to injury.

Bilbao will play at Valencia home ground today but for away matches during this season Bilbao had poor records that from total 9 matches they only gets 2 wins from it and indeed if we see from quality of squad obviously Bilbao is more better than Valencia but those records makes me doubt they can able to beat Valencia today although Valencia condition is more worse than them but i don't think Bilbao will earn 3 points
