Elche is the team at the very bottom this season so far, I think it should be a very easy game for Real Madrid and they should be reaching 8 point difference if I am not calculating wrong. That is still a lot of points though, they were a lot more closer and lost some very important games when Barcelona won and that is why the difference is as big as it is.

Let them lose, let them be second for once, they have won enough to say that they have done all they could, plus they are getting younger and that means there will be some "bad" years, although being second is not bad for any other club, it might be considered bad by real fans, but I think they will get better again.

I do not think so. The chance is still there even though it's quite far now because with the current conditions it means that Madrid are keeping 8 points back now and that's pretty good. This condition is a little late for them but I think they can still catch up because it's not certain that Barcelona will still be good in the matches that will come later.
On the other hand even though Benzema scored 2 penalties in this match with his Brace now he is again trying his luck in the top scorer.

Who lose hope in football nowadays when the final result is not yet announced? Barcelona might be ahead of Real Madrid but that doesn’t guarantee them to have won the league yet when the league matches are still ongoing and there are more to play. The good part is that Real Madrid are gathering more goals which will favour them if they eventually catch up with Barcelona which ideally many thinks it’s impossible.    Even if they are leading the race with many points, I don't think U should say Barcelona is already the favorable side to win the La Liga title cuz they also have a lot to worry about. Manchester United will not be an easy side for them to overcome in the Europa league.
They will also have to bench some players while in La liga and injuries can also come in, all this are hindrances to winning.

So good to see Benzema on the lineup again after suffering a series of injuries and missing so many matches that he would have scored goals to help his team Real Madrid. Benzema scored a brace to put his team ahead of Elche who has been handicapped in this game and it's a boost of morale for the French man because he will be motivated to score goals so he can equal the goal margin of Lewandoski of Barcelona even as they have so many matches to play and hopefully, Madried can remain in good for even as they had the game under their control till the final whistle. After winning FIFA club world cup trophy and ancellotti must win the match against elche and real madrid did it so well against elche. This is easiest match to predict caused by madrid is slowly going back again to the its good performance after all.
Real was just destroying elche in home. Three points secured by real madrid now. Even though the odd was very small but im happy with the resul that already achieved by madrid.

The thing that makes me happy is benzema was scoring another goal for madrid.

There was only a destruction by Real Madrid today. They had one of their most dominant games and finished off Elche by 4-0. Elche had better appreciate Real Madrid for not scoring more. Because Real Madrid had 13 shots on target.    Benzema could have made a hat-trick as he scored 2 goals. Asensio also scored today which is good for him.

Asensio's future is still ambiguous at the team though. Real Madrid still haven't extended his contract which ends this summer.
