You forgot that if real madrid has joselu on its team, which has been also in the list of top scorer last season under benzema. Joselu will able to replace benzema and it needs time till he will be fully adapted to the club. You didn't count that inf your post while joselu was also contributing a goal during the match against manchester united. Xavi has been losing against arsenal. It wont be as interesting as it used to be, even though La Liga is always known for its tough competition from Real Madrid to Barcelona, but after the senior players have left each team, there is no competition that is really tight because later, even though Real Madrid and Barcelona will compete in La Liga, but for sure Madrid will focus more on the champions league again and for sure Barcelona will fill first place in the standings and Madrid will be runners up like last season.

It will only be a friendly match, so don't give this match the same importance as the official matches. There are more important things than just friendship when it comes to El Clasico because matches like this are always full of prestige.
I think we know how the tension and rivalry is when these two clubs play so I don't think there's anything to be relaxed about because egos and prestige are obviously bigger.

Even though this match will not mean anything and will not prove that they are the strongest in the next season, losing to rivals is something that is highly avoided in order to maintain the prestige that has long existed.

I completely agree that Lewandowski was one of the best signings for Barcelona last season, even though I was in a rival team. Lewandowski has become the best striker in La Liga in just one season, which is a great achievement for an aging striker like him. Benzema and La Liga have to admit his prowess, he was the top scorer of La Liga last season.

But as for next season, I hope Lewandowski will never be the same again. He can still be expected to score goals, but he can't hold that record much longer without being substituted. Next season we no longer have Benzema, but other players should be able to replace him to compete on the top scorer board.

What you say seems contradictory and if you say Real madrid is difficult to fight Manchstr United in the champions league it is a big mistake because from experience Real madrid is superior and Manchstr United does not have strong reliable players to be able to compete with Real madrid.
You can't take this pre-season match seriously because it just a trial match so you shouldn't take the match seriously and regarding the Barcelona match with Real Madrid, most people choose Real Madrid to win but something can happen and my prediction is Barcelona win.

@tusandi I don’t expect both sides to bring their best game in this fixture because both sides would like to experiment in this fixture and provide game time to as many player’s they can. Furthermore both have equal edge because while Barcelona have a proven striker in the form of Lewandowski Real Madrid has the best young midfielder in the form of Bellingham hence this will be a balanced tie and I would advise not to expect much from this fixture.

Giving Lewandowski good passes and even with like a half of chance, he will be able to make great shots and converted them to goals for Barcelona. However, scoring goals only is not enough for a club as they need to have strong defense to win titles. Barcelona can not ask Lewandowski to improve their defense and they must train their defenders, defensive midfielders and look at the market to buy some defensive players to enhance their defense system.

Yes, he is an excellent player and an excellent striker. Better than him Victor Osihmen who has scored many more goals in a much more competitive and difficult championship. They are the two strikers I would like in my beloved Juventus, but it's obviously a daydream.

Robert Lewandowski will soon be 35 years old and well as he gets older maybe his performance will also decrease. Because age still can't lie to the stamina of the players. We can see a decline in the performance of great players like CR7, Messi and Benzema as they get older. And Benzema is now going to an Arab club (Al-Ittihad) because he may realize that he is no longer young and it will be difficult for him to compete with young players who can still continue to improve from season to season. Like at Real Madrid last season, Benzema hasn't played much due to injury but a young player like Vinicius jr can replace him well.

I think so with Robert Lewandowski maybe this season he won't be as good as last season either. But if the 34-year-old player can consistently show his loyalty in Barcelona's attack then I will really appreciate it.

The decline in performance for a player like Lewandowski is very likely to occur slowly and not suddenly where when last season he was still quite productive by contributing 23 goals for Barcelona then suddenly this season his number of goals dropped to 50% it looks impossible because Lewandowski is one of the players who consistent, the season is about to start he will still probably score a lot of goals for Barcelona unless he gets injured but that rarely happens in his career, and I can't imagine if their main striker drops drastically it will bring Barça in such a bad state because other Barca forwards are not as productive as Lewan, but next season it is very possible for Barca to start looking for a replacement, because as he gets older it will be difficult for Lewandowski to play full time also with the tight schedule of matches that his club must play, because Barcelona will also play in competitions europe.

Yes, I am aware of the rumors that Ansu Fati is for sale.
There is nothing shown by Ansu Fati that makes Xavi have to make him a core player who is included in the starting eleven in every Barca match.
If Barcelona think that Fati cannot return to his best playing form, sell him and buy another striker as I have stated above.

Lewandowski is physically good so his role this season has really helped Xavi in the title fight with Real Madrid. Very different from the attacker listed in the Barcelona squad.
Ansu Fati also often experiences injuries so his name doesn't appear like Gavi and Pedri.
