The meeting of these two big clubs will always be interesting, although for some people there is something missing, because the players we used to see in the match are no longer there and are now dominated by new players. I completely agree that Lewandowski was one of the best signings for Barcelona last season, even though I was in a rival team. Lewandowski has become the best striker in La Liga in just one season, which is a great achievement for an aging striker like him. Benzema and La Liga have to admit his prowess, he was the top scorer of La Liga last season.

But as for next season, I hope Lewandowski will never be the same again. He can still be expected to score goals, but he can't hold that record much longer without being substituted. Next season we no longer have Benzema, but other players should be able to replace him to compete on the top scorer board.

Is as if Lewandowski knows he will end up doing better for Barcelona last season,  when Lewandowski was signed into Barcelona he gave fans assurance he will help Barcelona score goals to win laliga and this is what happened at the end of everything. Lewandowski was the best signing for Barcelona last season, I still have the believe Lewandowski will still do better for Barcelona in this season because he is good in scoring goals, he never struggles to score goals. I haven't yet seen a striker that will challenge Lewandowski this season to score the highest goal.

Robert Lewandowski remains one of the finest outright strikers in modern football and surely was the best signing of not just Barcelona but in the whole of Spain last summer and that he clearly demonstrated by helping Barcelona win the Spanish La Liga last season ahead of star-studded Real Madrid.
Since he left Bayern Munich, the club is yet to find another striker that can fill in his boots at the club. Despite his current age Lewandowski so still very much a super striker

Yes, I am aware of the rumors that Ansu Fati is for sale.
There is nothing shown by Ansu Fati that makes Xavi have to make him a core player who is included in the starting eleven in every Barca match.
If Barcelona think that Fati cannot return to his best playing form, sell him and buy another striker as I have stated above.

Lewandowski is physically good so his role this season has really helped Xavi in the title fight with Real Madrid. Very different from the attacker listed in the Barcelona squad.
Ansu Fati also often experiences injuries so his name doesn't appear like Gavi and Pedri.

Reportedly Jorge Mendes pushed Barcelona management to release Ansu Fati because there was interest from a club from the English Premiere League for his client. However, Ansu Fati is a valuable asset for Barca even though he doesn't seem to be able to show good performance. I think that in one or two seasons his performance will be more mature, considering that currently Fati is only 20 years old. I don't think the number of goals can be the main benchmark for Wenger because Barca maximizes Lewandowski role as their pure striker.

Apart from these rumors, it is possible that Barcelona will release their winger this summer. Thus Barca can bring in players who are more mature to get better squad depth, so they can defend the championship trophy next season, if they don't want to be taken over by Real Madrid.

I don't agree if you say Real Madrid were bad last season, because if Real Madrid were bad last season but why did Real Madrid still win the Copa del Rey. Also, the benchmark for Real Madrid success is not only about the Champions League and La Liga titles. Real Madrid changed the transfer tactic we know and started to recruit younger and more potential players. This shows Real Madrid's investment in the future. Real Madrid performed brilliantly last season but they weren't lucky enough to win UCL. Everyday is not Christmas and I don't think that Real Madrid is the only club in Laliga and UCL that will always win the leagues as if it is their birth right. From season to season the strongest club that is in form without injuries to set them back will always come out successful.

Ancelotti needs to get a striker that will replace Benzema and I think that the club in still in a good shape and are also preparing for next season. I know that they will perform better this season and will be lucky too.
