Girona really prepared for this season to take over Real Madrid and Barcelona position in the la Liga league table, because they refuse to allow any teams to defeat them in this new season. Based on what Girona players are displaying in this season, I think it will take Barcelona and Real Madrid a long time before they can take over this position back from Girona, because they have solid defenders and midfielders in this season which is their back bone for this tournament. I know,  it will not going to be easy for Girona to win the la Liga league title but they will definitely struggle for second or third position but their coach is doing a great job which everybody can see from their starting in this tournament.

However, even if Atletico Madrid was not succeed in winning the game, I would not be surprised to see them settle for a draw because I do not believe that Osasuna possesses the necessary talent to defeat Atletico Madrid. I am aware that Osasuna might appear to be particularly strong because it is a home game, but even so, I don't think the team have the strength to defeat Atletico Madrid.

In the next match, Real Madrid will face Girona, I think it will be a very difficult match and it is possible that Real Madrid will suffer another defeat because Girona is currently in very good form, and this is in contrast to Real Madrid which has a lot of problems.

It's going to be a tough match because, given Girona's current form, I doubt they will give Real Madrid much breathing room. Because of this, the game might require something I can't currently predict because both teams are in excellent form, but if I were to compare team performances and judge the match, I might predict a draw but if I had to gamble and back one of the teams, though, I would choose Girona because of their current winning attitude. They've suprisenly got this far but I don't think they'll be league contender this season, gradually when the league gets more tougher they'll begin to decline in both form and position due to fatigue and quality squad depth, they didn't invest much on quality players that could help them through the season so I don't think they might survive for a very long time,however they've been very impressive so far and I'm suprised at their performance this season,  cause they've won 6 games out of 7 and are currently the league leaders with a point ahead of Realmadrid and Barcelona.

The draw that Girona took was vs Real Sociedad in the beginning then flawless victories came successively. They will face next Real Madrid in a home game and odds are not in their favor. We will see! I doubt also they could keep that spot after the 8th round.

Im really impressed by Girona performance, but i think like always late in  the tournament they are gonna start to fall behind without so much explanation.

Yesterday i see Bilbao game and man, Iñaki Williams alone make a destroy in the Getafe defense.

You're right, it's been a very extraordinary season for Girona, but I don't think Real Madrid and Barcelona will let it last too long. Barcelona failed to win the match against Mallorca which was very surprising, while Real Madrid succeeded in beating Las Palmas with a score of 2-0.

Girona certainly has a chance to take points at home against Real Madrid tomorrow, but I think this is the best opportunity for Real Madrid to reclaim first place from them. They are one of those teams that ends up getting one good season among 10 years. That does happen to one team every season and this year it looks like it's Grionas time.
