Marc Guiu was the supersub in this match, but I think Barcelona deserved to win this match. He had the best start ever, scoring a goal within seconds of entering the first match. Marc Guiu, at just 17 yo, achieved all these. It’s will be funny to think that if he had received a red card he would have covered everything in his debut since his transfer from Barcelona B. Beside that, if he continues to perform well in the upcoming matches which is a great chance for him now, he could potentially become the next forward for the team. Xavi doesn't have much of a choice but to rely on his youngest players, which tells us about Barcelona's unfortunate situation with injuries and absences this season.

Despite the situation now, and getting the 3 points today, they still have a challenging week ahead with the El Clásico and the UCL match. They certainly deserved to win today considering their situation, but can they maintain this level or even more of performance and surpass the challenge with Real Madrid? Barcelona vs Ath.Bilbao.

In the first half, I didn't watch the game. however, referring to the first half statistics, Barcelona was superior in possession of the ball but in terms of opportunities, Athletic was slightly better. Maybe Barcelona's only chance in the first half was a shot that hit the goal post. I just watched this match in the second half, and it seemed like Barcelona played much better than the first half. they had tons of chances, 9 total shots, 5 on target, three big chances.

Meanwhile, Athletic are not that dominant and in fact they often make mistake after mistake among their players. in this match, especially the second half. Honestly, as a Barcelona supporter I really like the Joao duo. even though Cancelo is a defender, he always contributes in building attacks. unfortunately, his hard shot was blocked by the goalkeeper, Unai Simon.
Joao Felix, he really worked hard to show his worth, that Barcelona was not wrong in bringing him to Camp Nou. he works very well, even though for me he is too hasty when he touches the ball, his effort and work ethic, I really like. It's very natural, because I'm a Barcelona fan. Felix actually had a lot of opportunities, he had 3 shots on target, 1 shot hit the goal post, 3 opportunities, 2 big chances created and 42 touches. even though he didn't score a goal, his assist was very valuable for Barcelona's victory in this match which Marc Guiu was able to continue very well and convert it into a goal.

We also need to give credit to Joao Felix because he was instrumental in the build up to Guiu's goal and made several efforts to get his own too. I really enjoyed the game, the both sides pressing each other, not giving breathing space to themselves. It's a game that was well played but Marc Guiu became the man of the match after his timely goal in the 80'.
It's impessive to note that as soon as he came in the 79', he began poaching the Athletic defense till the goal came in. This win was a very important one as they needed the three points to see them fly past Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid to sit at the 3rd spot, trailing with a point behind Girona and Real Madrid who occuppy the second and first spot respectively.
Barcelona will really need to put in more effort if they intend to climb further because the battle for the title race, though still in it's early stages seems to be a tough one with Girona who have picked so much of a form that if they meet big clubs like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or even Barca, they could stand a a chance at winning.
 A great game indeed but I feel Xavi was resting his men for their champions league fixture against shakhtar Donetsk.

Shakhtar Donetsk will be the next team for Xavi and his players. Normally they can't make trouble for a team like Barcelona because Shakhtar Donetsk doesn't have the power for it but the fact about Barcelona is a lack of players and unfortunately, Barcelona doesn't have many players that's why the best they can do is to save some potential for the game against Real Madrid,
 

Shakhtar Donetsk is having so much trouble now as a club, but also as human beings. I think it is impressive that they are still in the game in the Champions League as well and they can't ever benefit from playing at home in front of their own fans because they have to play at neutral venues because of the war. I also think that Barcelona won't have many problems with them because the two teams can enjoy two entirely different levels of training, preparation and mental comfortability. I still hope for Shakhtar that they are able to play a great game and still enjoy that they are part of the Champions League.

Yep. Barcelona won the match although they played with some substituted players. Even the score today was made by a substituted player (Marc Gulu). However, I can see a decrease of Barcelona attacking without Lewandowski, Raphinha, De Jong, and Pedri. In my opinion, Madrid's match against Sevilla has been very tight so far. Where Sergio Ramos made many saves in his defense, he also had 2 opportunities but couldn't turn them into goals. The dispute between Madrid and Sevilla players was very tense, Ramos even pinched Rudiger cheek. However, at the end of the match I received news that Sergio Ramos spent almost an hour just reminiscing with the Madrid players. Even though on the field there was almost a clash. That's Sergio Ramos, even though he is an opponent, his presence cannot be rejected. Ancelotti also seems to miss the most instrumental defender while defending Los Blancos.

Real Madrid should have won the match by a three-goal margin, even though the referee disallowed two goals because the match was dominated by Real Madrid. With their Champions League match ahead, a performance like this against a team like Real Madrid ahead of their Champions League match will undoubtedly make them much more prepared for the next match.  However, even though it was not played at home, we had a lot of faith in Real Madrid and our expectations were high, but Real Madrid did not play as we expected against Sevilla. Although Real Madrid is still number one in the points table with one point in this match, still they should have got 3 points in this match.

I know it was "only" Almeria, but I think for a team like Girona it can be said that they stood a real test here. Being down 0-2 and then turning it around in spectacular fashion speaks volumes. But the table from the season 22/23 is interesting because Girona finished the season with 49 points and 11 points were missing to qualify for the Europa League, but they had a terrible season finish and couldn't win any of their last five games. They lost three of those games and tied two. Which means if they had a great season finish, they would have been up there last season already. Maybe this time they are due to qualify for an international competition.

Behind 2 scores but it doesn't dampen they spirits to play better, and succeeded in scoring 3 goal to take the lead in the first half. Girona this season has been very impressive, and last season they were actually impressive too yeah. If they can continue to consistently collect a lot of points, so yes then they can secure tickets big competitions and end up in the top four in the standings table. But I'm afraid that in the winter transfer window, they will sell some important players. If that happens, their performance may not be stable in several matches at the end of this season.

Last season they have been impressive up to a certain point and I think this is what they will be working on this season to prevent a severe downturn in their performance and not throw away the great effort of a whole season during the last few weeks. At the moment they are looking great and they are playing great. It is enjoyable to see how they play their fast counter attacks and also how much control they have over the games despite not being the team full of superstars. They are working hard with the means they have available and they are doing this in a way that makes it hard for other teams to keep up with them and beat them.

Sevilla really did well in guarding their defense line and putting off their attackers from getting good chances, Madrid suffered before they scored though it suprisenly came few minutes after they conceded, Realmadrid were more favorites to win the  game but Sevilla has destroyed their chance of maintaining the 1st position in the league with a good goal margin from other teams.

However, Sevilla truly intended to defeat Madrid, but their defenders' standard at their right position to prevented them from doing so. When the game began, Madrid had a two-goal lead, but both goals were disallowed owing to offsides.

I can't call this performance very well honestly. The first half performance of Barcelona was really poor. I wouldn't have been surprised if they even finished the half 1-0 behind. It was the young player Guiu's first game with Barcelona in his career and he must be feeling amazing about scoring a goal only in a minute after entering the game.    He is only 17 years old and I hope this goal makes a good increase in his self-confidence.

I you want to Judge base on both teams performance, before the match you'll think Realmadrid wouldn't find it tough to win against Sevilla but the reverse was the case, however if those two canceled goals weren't off-side it would had been very difficult for Sevilla to get an equalizer, however they really tried to hold Realmadrid to a draw, they were lucky David Alaba helped them steal a point from the match, however I love their performance it shows they've improved cause they created more chances in the match than Realmadrid did, even though their possession was more than that of Sevilla's.

 due to the draw Realmadrid and Barcelona are now sharing same points cause Barcelona won Bilbao today, both Spanish giants are now separated by goal difference and who tops the league would now be determined by the El Classico game, which everyone is seriously waiting for this season.

Barcelona made lots of goal attempts but many of them were not even effective. Bilbao has a strong defenders and goal keeper and barcelona was stuggling to win the match against bilbao. I must say that this is how important lewandowski is.
In fact, barcelona needs to have lewandowski to increase the effective ness of its attack against its opponent. I can't even imagine barcelona to face stronger competitor like real madrid soon. Barcleona was really strugglet to win the previous match.
The chance owned by barcelona to win the upcoming game is quite small consider the fact that if barcelona was not playing so well.
Lewandowski was helping barcelona to have a proper attack. I think that barcelona can only win with narros score when it was playing without lewandowski.
Barcelona can't really play well without a great striker who can helping in scoring. Many shoots were only straight on the goal keeper as well. No doubt if such stats were not that useful.
