Girona surprisingly achieved another positive result with a win against Celta Vigo. Girona played so dominatingly even though they failed to create many good opportunities to score goals. Celta had 1 goal controversially disallowed, that clearly changed everything for them.

Girona are just playing really strongly when it comes to teamwork. This is their "magical formula" to be this much successful so far. There is nobody in the team who scores the most of the goals either. It is evenly divided between some midfielders and forwards pretty much. But I must admit that it was a really tough win today.

Girona played the second half much better. They just dominated the half and didn't give more than one chance to their opponent to go for a goal attempt. Even by this performance Girona barely scored in the first minute of the stoppage time. But they got what they wanted on a very critical week with an El Clasico.

I have to admit that if Girona really had a really great performance, how could it be that at first the match seemed like it would only end in a draw, but in the last minute when there was added time, Yangel Herrera managed to score and this was all thanks to an assist from Aleix Garcia who had a very precise ball pass target and I am a little admired but also worried that when Girona's performance continues to improve, big clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid will have difficulty catching points from Girona.

I thought Xavi would put Araujo in the right back position to stop Vini but it doesn't look like that's happening considering that Real Madrid now often use a 4-4-2 formation. The match has gone one half and the score is still 1-0 in favor of Barcelona, and there are still many surprises that can happen in the second half, I think. Gundogan managed to open the scoring in the 6th minute, his first goal in an El Clasico match since moving from Man City.
