It was the worst result they could ever get against a team like Villarreal. I don't know how Villarreal could score five goals against Barcelona and how Barcelona could let this team to have this performance but the fact about Villarreal and Barcelona is about the bad performance of Xavi and his palers.
Also, after this match, Xavi said he is not going to keep working in Barcelona anymore.

This much have been a very sad decision for him to make after losing to Villarreal. Could the lost and the pain of losing made him utter those disappointing statement of leaving the club at the end of the season? This was not expected though seeing how he did well last season for the club and earned them the La Liga title. This season, I also don’t think it is time to give up on the fight for the league title so early, but let’s just respect his decision and hope that what he did was for the best interest of the team. Two coaches have announced so far that they’ll not continue with their teams by next season, it is very unusual to happen as season is still ongoing unless the management sacks them by theirselves.

I think Xavi has thought about his decision well and maybe it's not just because of the defeat to Villarreal. Of course, he was furious with the current condition of his team, which seemed weak amidst the huge demands from internal and external parties, so his statement was understandable.

Basically I understand what Xavi wants for his team, but things will not improve as quickly as expected. This season many plans have not gone according to expectations, even when Xavi has great enthusiasm to start this season. To be honest, I don't want him to go as quickly as he said, but if that is the best decision then he has the right to get what he wants.

We will wait to see who will be the replacement for Xavi before next season begins.

Most importantly, they need a better coach with good tactics and build to grow the club around the La Ma Sia laddies.

Yep. The pressure upon Girona was real from Celta Vigo but this team knows how to win by short scores and today they did exactly that. Personally I would love to finally see someone besides Real , Atletico and Barcelona to win LaLiga just like Leicester did in Premier League a few years ago.

I don't know what happened recently in football where in the Premier League Kloop announced he would step down from Liverpool coaching chair at the end of this season. In Laliga, Xavi also did the same thing where he will step down after this season ends. For Xavi, he made the decision at a time when the team situation was not really improving, where recently their performance in Laliga was less than satisfactory and previously they failed to win the Spanish Super Cup trophy after being beaten by Real Madrid. And Barcelona also lost their hopes in the Copa Del Rey and their performance this season has really dropped drastically.

With Xavi resignation, of course there is a strong assumption that Barcelona will have any difficulties until the end of this season. Yeah obviously, I told you before that Xavi is nothing. He can't give anything new to the club that others don't, despite his lack of management skills. Managing is hard work and full-duty it can't handle a layman. It is true that Xavi is a great player, but it is obligatory that if a player is good on the pitch, he will also be good at managing. Although he has a good mentality, managing a team requires a lot of effort and a sharp mind, which Xavi doesn't have. I am not a Barcelona fan, but as riveal I have a suggestion for Barcelona: if they want to do something new, they will need to sign Klopp because he will also leave the Liverpool at the end of the season and he has quite a range of different tactics. I watched Xavi's press conference and he looked really sad and a bit tired. He talked about the criticism directed at him and said that it's impossible to be Sir Alex Ferguson at this club. Regarding Sevilla's chances of being relegated, I think the chances are 50:50 because Sevilla will only compete with one team from relegation like Cadiz while the other 2 places will belong to Almeria and Granada. This season is Sevilla's worst season of the 22 matches they only won 3 times lol, nothing can be expected from them except a draw I mean a draw is the best result for them in the upcoming match. Next February will be a challenge for Sevilla because based on the schedule, almost all of their opponents are strong and mid-table teams including Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid there.

Today's live match Atletico Madrid vs Valencia, I can see Atletico Madrid playing very aggressively by continuing to attack in 45 minutes, 9 shots 6 on target as in the screenshot below. The chemistry of the team has changed with Xavi. This is not going to happen with names like Romeu, Kounde, Ferran. The team needs quality players, but financial problems are bending Barça's back.
