This coming weekend, Real Madrid and Girona will play their second meeting. The first meeting took place at Girona's home, and Real Madrid prevailed. I'm not sure if everyone paid enough attention to this game or not but other than the result of this match. Diego Simeone made a funny move in this math. When Luka Modrić was about to enter the field and play for Real Madrid in this game, Simeone blanked his eyes and he said Modrić to come to play for them In Atletico Madrid. Surely, I'm already surprised by Girona's performance this season, and they will make it to next season's UEFA Champions League. Girona can maintain its position to get a ticket to the UCL next season, I think that makes sense but wouldn't you be surprised if a promoted team could surprisingly get a ticket to the UCL?
If you can get a ticket to UCL, I don't think Girona will be able to get through the group stage because mentally Girona is not yet ready enough.
and to win the title in La Liga eliminating Real Madrid, for me it is impossible unless a miracle comes while Barcelona performance has started to improve.
I really appreciate Girona performance but believe me competing with the 2 big La Liga teams will not be that easy even though they will compete against Real Madrid. I don't think Girona will be able to beat Real Madrid because Girona was previously beaten by Real Madrid at that time.

Surely, I'm already surprised by Girona's performance this season, and they will make it to next season's UEFA Champions League. If Girona plays well in next season's UEFA Champions League group stage and wins their matches, nothing will stop them from not qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League; even Leicester City qualified for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League when they won the Premier League trophy.

The day is coming for the decisive battle between Real Madrid and Girona and Real Madrid who plays at home can be happy with a draw though they will push hard for the win as this would give them the needed confidence and relief level needed to win the La Liga.In this game all the pressure is on Girona who should win at all cost this game to keep the title fight more open than ever in La Liga.

Time flies... We are really about to have this very critical game for the league title between Girona and Real Madrid in only three days.  

It is at Santiago Bernabeu by the way which is making Real Madrid gain a huge advantage. They already beat Girona by 3-0 away once you know. Girona have a very difficult job to do in this one.    Bookmakers are of course highly favouring Real Madrid despite the low amount of point gap between. I also expect Real Madrid to win this game no matter what to capture a big advantage for the title.

Madrid is a very strong  team, with a lot of stars  and talented players in their squad. However,  this is not the only reason  why Madrid will win. Girona is performing well this season. And in several matches Girona has shown surprise. Girona  also blew away teams like Barcelona. However,  Girona lost the previous match  against Madrid 3-0. They don't want to make the same mistake again. Girona will play for victory in the next match against Madrid. I think the match will be a draw. I will be happy if the match is a draw. Because if Madrid wins, we will only see the dominance of Madrid in this year's La Liga, and Madrid will win the title. But if Madrid fail to win the match, the title battle between Girona and Madrid will continue.

Real Madrid is a biggest club in Spain and Europe as they won most La Liga titles and most Champions League titles. They are strong in this season and with more experience than Girona which are an underdog, Real Madrid logically are considered as a stronger team in their coming match. It makes sense to predict the winner will be Real Madrid but let's don't forget that Girona even won over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

They will move to Bernabeu with belief that they can do the same at Real Madrid's home stadium. Even if they lose at Bernabeu, it won't be the end of their magical season.

Experience is something that will make the difference between Real Madrid and Girona. Real Madrid's experience is certainly not comparable to that of Girona. But Girona will be more motivated to avenge their defeat in the first meeting, at least they can't lose again.
The close points gap is a chalenge for both teams. For Girona a win will take them back to the top of the table and if they lose, they will fall further behind Real Madrid.
I'm not sure if they'll go for a defensive strategy or try to play openly. But if you look at the way Real Madrid play, they're not really a team that tries to keep the ball, so it's likely that Girona will play the way they usually do.

For Girona and the fans, of course it like a dream if their were now contenders for the La Liga title, as well as if they qualify for the Champions League next season of course that would be an extraordinary record and achievement for the club history, looking at their current position of course in the league Champions awaits them next season but I think competing in the Champions League is not an easy thing for a club like Girona, the Champions League is full of great teams and of course it will be very difficult for them to conquer if they don't add strength but by maintaining the existing squad, Girona has a chance playing in the Champions League can be said to be a rare opportunity, so they have to use the opportunity that comes now very well and at least be able to provide lots of surprises later in the Champions League, not just being a complementary team.

It really will at least depend on next week's game. Of course that Champions League match is going to be at the back of the mind of Real Madrid. But I don't think that is going to be a big enough issue for Real Madrid to actually lose the match against Girona.

Hopefully this will be exactly like this, as usual, Real Madrid can play optimally against Girona. So, they are able to beat Girona, whatever the condition. and they should be able to. not an excuse for one thing or another. Real Madrid vs Girona in La Liga is only a few days apart from the match in UCL. The match in the UCL itself against Leipzig may not really be too tough, but you still have to be alert and optimal. So, we just have to wait and see what kind of tactics will be taken in order to be optimal in these two matches. Because indeed, both matches are important, so this will lead Real Madrid to focus more on both victories.
