I think Girona's case next season will not be too different as Newcastle's case this season in the Premier League and also the Champions League. Girona is not a team that has a large spending budget to increase the depth of its squad next season, while several important players on loan will return to their original clubs. Girona will be faced with weak financial strength in this case, so I don't think they will really be able to maintain their form in La Liga or the Champions League.

Well, all things considered, Newcastle didn't perform too poorly in the champions league. I know they won only one match but I believe they were kind of unlucky too. The first time in decades that they'll be playing in the champions league they get grouped with PSG, Dortmund and Milan.
Girona needs to a lot in transfers before they can compete in the champions League. They don't have deep pockets but if they recruit rightly they might have a better team and they can still get some players on lone.
With the kind of form Girona is ending the season with, I doubt they'll be flying high next season, but I hope they make the right decisions because I want to see them competing.

For now, I'm waiting for Barcelona's match against Almeria. This is an important match for Barcelona to win so that they remain in second place above Girona.

Barcelona is currently winning, but not convincingly. I believe they'll finish the match with a win because they're already 2 goals up, but matches like this sums up the difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid this season. This is supposed to be a very easy win for Barcelona because Almeria has only won 2 out of 35 matches this season. Barcelona is another team that has a lot of work to do or else they might have two straight seasons without a trophy.

Girona was one club that kept me motivated to watch LA Liga games so keenly because they brought about the breaking of the jinx that suggested that small/new clubs cannot challenge the elite clubs at the top but this season Girona which joined the league in 2017 to mark as their first appearance in the La Liga league since they have been playing for over 80 years history.

I am also congratulating them for pushing this far to be qualified for the Champions league and I'm pretty sure they will keep improving with the level they currently occupy. I wished they were able to win a day before yesterday's match with Villarreal to have maintained their second position coming in between Real Madrid and Barcelona, it would have made me more excited for it to end that way.

I think this season is a special season for all leagues, it's not just Laliga that is making a surprise. From a small team to becoming part of an elite team to compete in the UCL league next season. In La Liga there is Girona, in Serie A there is Bologna, in the EPL there is Aston Villa, in Ligue 1 there is Brest, then in the Bundesliga there is Stuttgart. So in my opinion, almost all leagues are interesting to watch this season.

However, the question is whether they will be able to compete in the UCL league next season or will these teams just be lucky teams for one season, next season they will be small teams again. This is what is interesting for us to wait for. but among the teams I mentioned above, Girona still seems to remain consistent, because of the extraordinary money power of the City Group which has made history, Girona is known as a small club to become a giant club in La Liga, a successful investment.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw. Your guess was right. However, I am very disappointed with the overall performance of Real Betis in this match. Such a performance from a big team like Real Betis was not expected in today's match. las Palmas completely dominated their home matches. Real Betis however managed to earn 1 point from the match. However, the performance of Betis players was not good. Since Las Palmas could not perform well in the previous matches. Therefore, Real Betis team was naturally considered as the favorite in today's match. But Betis players let us down today. I guess a lot of gamblers lost their money in this match.

Betis is far from being a team worth betting on, especially in an away game, those who lost their bets should have known what risks they were taking. But it’s still strange that Betis conceded 2 goals from a team that averages less than a goal per game. Apparently this draw officially leaves Las Palmas in La Liga, it seems that there is no mathematical chance that Cadiz and the rest of the losers will be able to get past them.

Sociedad have won the first half so far and have displaced Betis in the standings... I don't know if Valencia will be able to equalise, but for now Sociedad are in the Europa League zone... Probably Betis are very offence now, but Valencia can give them hope in the second half...

I think Real Sociedad will likely win even the match, aside this season being the worst season for Valencia since I can remember, they are played subpar this first half and I don't think the coach might be able to do something that will make these players being able to change the game in the second half

Xavi Hernandez is ensuring he sealed a winning spot for Barcelona, however they've met the accumulated points to play UEFA Champions League games next season. Barcelona was down this season, they couldn't match the available targets mapped out for them this season.  

Barcelona was actually the elite team that really ahs to struggle this season a d it was a really disappointing one because they had a better performance and the very beginning of the season such that fans taught their teams strength wasn't really going to affect them because we all know that they had an issue with their abilities and even had. Their key player injury for a long time almost halfway into the season.

After the first El clasico of the season Barcelona began their decline journey and it became almost very tough and bumpy for them from there but they managed to be able to finally got back a little towards the end of the season and Luckily for them through their period of decline they made sure they were able to maintain a position around the top five and didn't get below that level and that helped them to find it quiet easy to be able to get back to the top of  the table easy enough at the end part of the season but if they has gone way below the fifth position they would have actually found it difficult getting back to the second position on the table.

They have aswell been able to qualify for the champions league and some how they still have luck in the fact that they will still have xavi staying with them so next season availa another opportunity for them to be able to pickup form and get back to a much good and better performance than they have been this season and possibly they could be a top contender for the league titles aswell.

There was transition of small clubs across many leagues, I thought Girona were the new cats they were going to change Laliga but they fell off badly. In Premier League, Arsenal put Manchester City to a challenge but still better even when winning is hard, Leverkusen top Germany league and has not lost, I expected Girona to keep the same energy but I guess Laliga isn't that kind of League that allow space for minor teams, Real Madrid took it beige their eyes.

I am also congratulating them for pushing this far to be qualified for the Champions league and I'm pretty sure they will keep improving with the level they currently occupy. With his on and off performance from the team, they better sign new players and make sure their center back are well replace and find a usual no.9 for their team else I'm not sure if they are going to pass through the ordinary stage of the group stage, the manager need to sign new players because the way the team were is now different from where they were last season to now.

The results of the upcoming match do not affect Barcelona position in the standings because Barcelona and Girona have managed to secure their place after their points are far superior compared to the teams below their ranking.

Meanwhile, for Xavi, he has changed his decision because he will stay at Barcelona. So Barcelona needs to recruit lots of players to compete with Real Madrid next season. Yes, Barcelona managed to save the full 3 points in this match against Almeria with a final score of 0 - 2. Playing away is not a problem for Barcelona this time because if you look at the statistics, it is quite different. Almeria may be able to carry out several attacks, but their accuracy is not good enough. So Xavi's team can handle it well. These 2 goals brought a complete victory for Barcelona and in the end further solidified the club's position as runners up, although it did not affect their position in getting the trophy, but at least it was much better to be runners up, than having to lose to Girona's position.

Xavi certainly needs to force management to give him enough money and comply with his requests to get certain players, but if management can never comply then they just need to lower their expectations for the title. However, Barcelona in Xavi's hands is the best rival for Real Madrid this season, even if Barcelona loses to Real Madrid in the title race.

In this match Real Sociedad team players performed well, as they managed to score a goal right from the start of the match. But later on, the performance was so good that neither of the two teams could score any more goals, with equal attacks. So far Andre Silva has missed more attacks, but the defenders of both teams are very strong. So far no other player has succeeded in attacking but Real Sociedad team players are more aggressive, this match Real Sociedad team players can win.

Is the assessment that Xavi is a dramatic coach a subjective or objective assessment? Then, even though he is considered a dramatic coach, he was still able to bring Barcelona to become runners up in La Liga. What about the other coaches on the list? Are they much much better than what Xavi did to Barcelona? For, if seen from the achievement, some of those clubs on the lists have declined the position much worse than the previous season.
But for Michel, he really should be appreciated because he succeeded in bringing a small team like Girona to become a surprising team in La Liga which had become top standing, runner up, and in the end is currently at number 3. Really great salute to him.

I saw the nominees for the award of the best Spanish La Liga manager of the season earlier today and if I must be sincere, I think I was more of confused than disappointed like other persons. I think Carlo Ancelotti will effortlessly win the award because of what he's been able to achieve with his Real Madrid team this season both in domestic competitions and in Europe but there's something I think isn't adding up about the nominees list. Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez's name was missing in the list but the name of fourth placed Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone was in the list. The truth is that Barcelona didn't win any major trophy this season but since Atletico Madrid manager was included in the list after not winning any major trophy with the club this season, I think it's a kind of cheating not to include Xavi Hernandez's name

That's it. If compared to Ancelotti, yaa, of course he will be the winner of this nomination, and Xavi is not well compared to him. But some of other coaches, I still think that Xavi is still able to make it good. But well, they have the assessment and probably they have its own assessment indicators.

Barcelona has successfully secured second position on points table but compared to them real Madrid are far better performing at this season not only in league cup but in UEFA Champions league too and they successfully secured league and now looking they will easily secure UCL too because thier opponent are not much tough as like normal expected final opponent so things will be mange easily as they have several new starts who can surprised any team at any time like we have seen some visual against Bayern at last stage so the main things is Barcelona should focus on new manger as because thier rival manger C.angelotti despite having any start player like Lewandowski still he mange both cup and maintain more than 12 points gap with them.

Xavi has still managed to bring Barcelona so far with a better record, even though he didn't win the title, he was able to bring in many quality players in the team. Of course, Barcelona has not yet recovered from their financial condition, so the option that Xavi has to think about is borrowing and selling players in order to balance the team financial expenses. Yes, this season many players from the academy who were brought in by Xavi have joined the first team, it is clear that they have no other choice because of the worsening financial situation.

For next season, if Barcelona are not able to change their strength to become stronger by buying new players, then I am sure it will be quite difficult for them to compete for the title. Mbappe will join Real Madrid so Ancelotti squad will be quite strong next season. So far, the regeneration carried out by Real Madrid has certainly been successful because their squad has many young players in it.

Valencia didn’t play good football today. I go some extent expected more from them, especially with the fact that, it was just a goal difference and there was room to get something out of the game but, they were a lot laid back. They allowed Real Sociedad to dominate them in the first half and coming to the second half, Valencia couldn’t pick up the pace. It was a very much deserved win by Real Sociedad and an important 3 points too.

Barcelona yet again seals the deal on a 2 goals to nothing. Once more, Xavi substitutes Lewandowski early in the game which gets people wondering what’s the message behind these early substitutions. For some reasons, his not becoming much of an attacking threat as is expected of him but, he does well in maintaining possession around opposition box. Fermin today made all the difference, one headed goal and other from his foot. He was just in all the right places.

But later on, the performance was so good that neither of the two teams could score any more goals, with equal attacks. Final result is 1-0 for Sociedad and this is good result from them because finally Sociedad can return to the winning ways again after defeated from Barcelona last week and it's not easy to beat Valencia today because this team also can performing well and after this result finally Sociedad can taking over again 6th place but for their contender Betis unfortunately they only can able to playing draw from Las Palmas but because Betis only have 1 point below to Sociedad so they still have any chances to overtake Sociedad and in my opinion probably the team that will finish in 6th place will be determined in the last match of Laliga later

Besides Sociedad today Barcelona also can collect 3 points from their opponent Almeria and it's very interesting to see the lineup from Barcelona because today Xavi has decide to played some of Barcelona young players such as Héctor Fort and Pau Cubarsí and unlike Lamine Yamal who playing regularly with Barcelona but those players status as reserved players but although Barcelona was playing with some of their reserved players but they still too strong for Almeria and after this result Barcelona has 4 points above to Girona and they only required at least 1 draw again to secured runner up place and Barcelona upcoming opponent is Rayo so i am sure beating this team won't be hard task for them
