But now that the game is over I see that I had high expectations about Real Madrid that do not correspond to reality and definitely your words are also far from reality, because Real Madrid drew and only managed to score 1 goal. I see that with the arrival of Mbappe nothing has changed in terms of the team's performance. By that I mean that it is possible that Real Madrid will not consider becoming champions this season. I agree with you because it will surely take the new players some time to adapt to the nature of the team perhaps that was the reason why the old players played better than the new players but it shouldn't take the new players much time to blend with the team so that they all can make good improvements through a combined efforts.

Lewandoski is going to have a good season under Flick. If Barcelona find a way to get a good and reliable winger to play the left wing and with Yamal and Raphina on the right wing, Lewandoski will spend more time in the box because he would receive balls from both wings.

In conclusion, creativity is what Barcelona lacked then last season, maybe only the right wing was effective and he had to go drop deep in midfied and also the left wing. There is some news about Barcelona and it seems the fans of Barcelona are not happy because they expect to see Barcelona hiring more players while the bad financial situation in Barcelona won't let this team to hire more players and they don't still have a good situation. They are about to hire Nico from Bilbao but they can't do that and when they asked Deco about hiring this player he said they want to hire him but he won't come to play for this team but they will hire about player instead.

I still can't understand how Real Madrid drew against Mallorca. Maybe it was the first game of the season so the players weren't fully prepared. While I was expecting a lot of goals, they only scored one and conceded a goal later in the game. I was surprised that they only scored one goal despite the fact that their attacking line was the strongest I've ever seen. Also, Ancelotti was very late in making substitutions. I think it was illogical not to put him on the field when there were players like Arda Güler and Diaz on the bench who could have brought some action to the game.

This is football man and the worst things happen when you least expect it so I believe that is what happened in the Mallorca vs Real Madrid team, a lot of expectations were centered on Real Madrid winning the game because of the quality players they have when compared to the home team but watching the game you could see the way the home team were able to keep with the defense after conceding and early goal but they were very lucky to finally get the equalizer before the final whistle. Gundogan will return back to Manchester City most likely as a free agent. His experience with Barcelona was great and he helped a lot the team, even Barcelona are aware of that but when we talk about Barcelona, we talk about fair play and chronic money crisis, so they have to get ride from a good player to register Olmo and the others eventually..

Of course, most people were curious with Real Madrid first match in La Liga. People want to see how Mbappe can bring significant impact for Real Madrid. Unfortunately, Real Madrid showed an unexpected game, they couldn't play well in that match. Real Madrid didn't play as a solid team, they missed many shot opportunities and Real Madrid defense seems worse. Anyway, it has nothing to do with the match against Atalanta. I think Real Madrid played better in UEFA Super Cup.

According to the media, I heard that Mbappe expected to score 50 goals in this season. If he played like in the match against Mallorca, I'm sure it is impossible to score 50 goals, he even may not score 30 goals in the whole season. But I think it is too early to judge him, he will try to adapt with Real Madrid game style gradually. Also, Mallorca often surprised us, this team isn't a very weak team, too. I believe that Real Madrid will recover from this of course and I still think that they will win, but they need to focus on the front trio to play better together, right now they are playing positionless and that is causing some issues. In fact, we can say the front four, because Jude is there all the time as well.

So, when they are all at the left at the same time, that ain't going to help them, they need to spread the defense a bit so that the ones with the ball could do something, if they stay too stack together that is going to be an issue. Honestly, it’ll take a lot from Ancelotti to blend this team I watched against Mallorca. They don’t look like they want to play together.

I think the only thing that seems to be lacking from Ancelotti current squad is an assist provider, like Kroos in the past. Having a number of players in one front line with a more dominant attacking style, must be balanced with a reliable playmaker, Modric is too old to be relied on in every match. While the other players, are still learning a lot to reach the level of Modric and Kroos, I assume that is Madrid current concern. However, thanks to the individual skills of the players who are above average, such things can be covered, but in the long term it must be overcome.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti is very experienced in facing every challenge, and overcoming every deficiency in the team very well, it seems quite easy for him to unite the egos of the players. We know that last season many people were worried about Madrid front line without Benzema, but Ancelotti managed to maximize the potential of Vinicius and Rodrygo supported by Bellingham. I think it's too early to predict what will happen to Madrid in the future, what is clear is that with a squad full of stars, Ancelotti will find it easier to experiment to implement various strategies and approaches.

I don't think lack of chances was the issue with Lewandoski last season, because at the end of the La liga season if you look at the stats you'll see that Barcelona is the team that created the most chances and Lewandoski is the player in the league that missed the most chances. I think it was just due to the system of play and him not realising that he's not as young, fast and sharp as he used to be, so instead of mostly poaching in the box or around the box he still wants to be involved in the build-up play.

With Olmo, he would play on the left wing which is not his normal position but he can do that well. I don't think Olmo is a player I would be excited about because as much as he's good, he's inconsistent and he's injury prone. I doubt he's going to be top-class in every game of the season if he doesn't get injured. Barcelona already have injury-prone players like Pedri and Frenkie in midfield, adding Olmo and selling Gundugan is not ideal.

Regarding Gunduga, there is news coming out that he will not be in the coaches' plans. That's understandable because he doesn't press, and he is not defensively conscious, but although Gundugan is a player I would like to remain at Barcelona, I think the team will be fine without him.

Arajuo is one player Barcelona should sell though, he is not a typical Barcelona kind of player.
