I'm not surprised if most people prefer to discuss Real Madrid and Barcelona because these teams have more fans. Real Madrid and Barcelona also become the favorite teams to win the trophy in each season although they are no longer in their best form. Even Atletico Madrid is also a strong team in La Liga, people still assume Atletico Madrid level is below of Real Madrid and Barcelona level.  

Sure, Real Madrid is still in a good form although there are many of their defenders injured.
