Who wins this match is determined on the club that is able to defeat the other one on this match where Atletico Madrid's win will result to 3 points additional making it 56 points, which will make them go to the top of the table standing and if they lost to the Athletic club, the Athletic will be moving from point 48 to 51 still remaining in the same position.

It was really disappointing to see Real Madrid performance today, their performance did not reflect that they are a great team, many mistakes in all lines, a fragile defense, a less attractive midfield, and a very blunt attack line. On the other hand, Real Betis played amazingly, they were so comfortable playing the ball from the first half until the end of the match. Antony also played great and Isco was their hero with his penalty goal. With Real Madrid result today, Atletico will be happy because they have the opportunity to occupy second place in the standings.

Real Betis have been impressive in recent games especially since Brazilian winger Antony joined the Spanish club so it's understandable that won yet another game in the Spanish La Liga today but considering the fact that they defeated a Real Madrid side that many including me had predicted a defeat for Betis, I think it was one of the best results of Real Betis this season. Real Madrid if you ask me should've done better with the quality of squad at their disposal. Carlo Ancelotti would definitely be furious with the result because they'll now have to trail Barcelona by three points and Atletico Madrid by 2 points of both clubs wins their games.

I knew Real Betis was not a small club to be easily won by Real Madrid in today's game, of which despite Madrid winning their last match while playing from home, I knew that today which Real Betis will be playing from home, the match was likely to be intensify. As one thing I noticed about this game was that despite Real Madrid having the most ball possession in today's game, they actually lack shotting more shots on target, which Betis has at advantage. While secondly, removing Kylian Mbappe at 75 minutes as Real Betis was taking the lead with 1 goal, was literally not the best decision for that game, of which despite Antonio Ruediger causing a penalty after charging Jesus Rodriguez from behind in the box and leading to Real Beti's second goal, Mbappe would have played till the end, since he is one player that is capable of performing the unbelievable at die minutes.

Only a few sports gamblers will place bets that Real Betis will win this game. They might have been putting up some good performance both in the La Liga and Europa Conference League but it never crossed my mind that they will win Real Madrid. The attack of Real Betis was far better because they had eighteen shots, and three were on target, while the visitors, even with an array of world-class strikers, had just nine shots, and only two were on target. Barcelona can now go three points on top of Real  Madrid if they win the game against Real Sociedad tomorrow.

This match has ended to the advantage of Barcelona who will now sit on top of the table with three points gap ahead of Madrid. I didn't see this win coming,  Real Betis out played Madrid to be very honest. The came in full force to ensure Madrid doesn't walk away with three points and they succeeded.

When Madrid scored first I felt the game will end in Madrid raining the stadium with goals but the whole scenario changed when Betis equalised and finally got a penalty that sealed their victory. Removing Mbappe at 75' might not have been the best decision but Anceloti was desperate for a win and decided to try his alternative which later failed him.

Isco did get a goal from the penalty spot and an assist against his former club in their win against Real Madrid tonight.

I don't really know what happened but to me the Real Madrid ought to be able to be victorious against Real Betis but couple of chances were missed before Real Betis got an equaliser and even became better in the game. Another dropped of points that Barcelona can capitalise on the league title sadly.

The Champions League match against Atletico Madrid will be a tough one I hope they can manage to get a win this  Tuesday.

I wouldn’t say I was totally surprised seeing Real Madrid dropping points yet again this season, i have always been predicting that three Laliga giants are seriously not consistent enough and I see them dropping points as the season progresses. Sad for Real Madrid it is them who have actually dropped the points first meaning huge advantage to both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. But to be sincere this wouldn’t be the only point to be dropped by the three clubs in tittle contention, except there is more consistency I see the clubs taking this tie until the end of the season.

For Real Madrid they simply need to just get over this and focus immediately on their next game which might be the UCL knockout game against Atletico Madrid. This is the competition I think they hard most likely biding to win

Every point is not easy to get and today can be another proof for Madrid in aiming for three points at Real Betis' home because Madrid not only needs full points today, but Madrid also needs defense in the position it has occupied in the current standings. I couldn’t watch the match, but I got surprised with the result and all I have seen is the celebration of Isco after scoring the second goal and making sure that it will stay a nightmare for Madrid. Perhaps, it’s time for Real Madrid to look for an alternative coach next season with many failures against low expected teams, I don’t think that Betis’s performance is any better than champions league level.

I think Real Madrid will end up being the third in the table because how on earth will they lose again? real Betis I was able to watch the first half of the game, but due to some of my personal stuff that came up, I left, but I came to see the game ended in a loss for Real Madrid. The funniest part is that I almost bet on Real Madrid to win, but unfortunately I was so busy I forgot to stake the money. The present performance of Real Madrid is making me think if they will be able to make it to the trophy this season. Because the competition of 3 teams is more complicated than competition with a single team, and Atlético Madrid has already scored their first goal, I still have hope on them winning even though there is still time before the end of the game.

Agree. It was surprising to see Real Madrid's performance today. I didn't expect they played very badly although they could play almost with their best lineup. I also didn't understand that some players who performed well recently, they were put in the bench today. Raul Asencio and Camavinga were in the bench, even Raul Asencio didn't get the time to play. I didn't hear any issue that Raul Asencio gets injured. It was strange that Ancelotti was getting rid of a defender who has been in great form in recent games.  

You're right. Isco and Antony always perform well recently. Especially in this match, Isco becomes the player who contributed the most. He scored a goal and he delivered 1 assist. It was pity that Real Madrid was destroyed by a former player. It may described a bit that the quality of the current players aren't better than the past players in Isco era.

Real Madrid are on a losing run for away games, they haven't been very good away as they haven't won any in their last three away games. Vinicius Junior has also being losing his relevance in the team and haven't had as much impact since the arrival of Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid were very poor in this game and they deserved to lose the game. Anthony impact has being very good since his arrival at his new club,  I can't believe how Antony's effect is really benefiting his new club as he has been helpings them to win games and is beginning to have a better season than Vinicius junior is having as shown in the image. It was an entertaining game to watch though.

I was busy and didn't have much time to make predictions for bets today and somehow, I was lucky I didn't bet because I definitely know my decision wouldn't have favor me. I was thinking because Real Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona are now in a situation, each team will want to win their match so they can maintain there place, I never knew Real Madrid are back from their usual break where they play games like they are not interested, everything was going well but the defense was bad.

Anceloti has said it severally that it's your defense that can help a team win their game and not the midfield or the entire forward. I don't know whether he forget the things he says sometimes but this is what he literally preach every time, Real Madrid defense is like a dry cheap where Betis where just stepping on through the way they like, they played them and ball possession was very excellent but couldn't make use of opportunities against Betis and couldn't close their legs to goal concedes.

I think they'll try to sign Antony during the summer it would be very beneficial to Manchester United since they'll sell him for a valuable fee and buy their preferred player. Antony and Isco are currently creating wonders at Betis, they've made Real Madrid to miss an opportunity of toping the league, if Madrid had won it would've boost them but now they'll likely be in third position if Barcelona wins their match, Atletico Madrid are currently typing the league since they're beating Bilbao currently by 1-0. If Real Betis continues with form, I mean if Antony's form remains consistent and Betis keeps winning there's a possibility that they could qualify for the Champions league even though they're in 6th position currently there's still hope for them but only if they keep winning. At this point Antony would be very happy he left Manchester United he's currently making waves in the Laliga something that wasn't possible at Manchester United.

Big teams should get the best out of every player but Ancelotti does not do that much. It is not good for them to lose points in such a match when they are so close to their opponents. Real Madrid could have lost by a bigger score but Betis missed many chances.

Antony's contribution to the team is very high. It was not easy to predict that he would perform like this and with his performance he showed that many people's predictions were wrong.
