I was expecting more from Atletico Madrid in this game, but they failed, fell below my expectations. It seems they only know how to play Barcelona and the rest of their game is shit!… that’s why their league performance is not so good, you win a big match and you go and struggle against a lesser one (not underrating Real Sociedad) but Atletico has been inconsistent with their performance.

It's one funny reoccurence with Athletico Madrid that keeps baffling me, it's funny how the would maltreat a bigger team and when face to face a team there size they start fumbling, the match is currently 2-1 with Athletico Madrid trailing. The equalizing goal was made by Lookman, Lookman has really changed and improve the attack of this Athletico Madrid side and is continuing to be a menace. The second half has begun and I feel the scoreline won't remain the same for long.

I want to believe Atletico Madrid is not heavily invested in this game and so they may just try and get a draw and they will be fine with it but as it regards winning, they may not want to push for that, most of their game now will be conservative so as to enable them maintain form till the champions league fixtures they have ahead.

One thing about Atletico Madrid is that you’re never sure of them winning the games which you think they should be winning. Playing in so many competitions is not an excuse man, because that is what all top teams are used to, so it's nothing new to this atletico madrid team, though I was actually disappointed that they lost this trophy that was on sight, because real sociedad wasn't that too formidable like Barcelona or real madrid, so it's actually going to be heartbreaking to their faithful fans home and abroad.
