Same here, I expected Atletico Madrid to win the game but they failed. In the second half of the legal time they dominated the game but wasn't able to add more goals unfortunately. In the extra time, Real Sociedad didn't let them either and they stood good honestly. By penalties, Atletico Madrid was totally out... First of all i will like to congratulate Real Sociedad for winning Copa del Ray 2025/2026 seasons and their incredible performance against Atlético Madrid, the match is a very tough match and i know this can happen to Atlético Madrid because anyone that knows Atlético Madrid will never denies that they are going to concede a goal even if they win the game, Real Sociedad are very prepared for the game and they allow everyone to doubt them and Atlético Madrid should be the favourite to win the trophy.

One thing i know about Atlético Madrid is that they will not allow you to qualify and they will not also win the trophy, they have stopped Barcelona to reach the final of Copa del Ray and they did not win the trophy, they are also the reason why Barcelona is out of the Champions League and I believe that they will soon be out of the competition because they are not going to beat Arsenal, Diago Simeone don’t have the mentality of winning trophies that is why the team continue to struggle even when they reach final.

Although they haven't won the Champions League trophy, Simeone's work has been excellent for Atletico Madrid, and it's no surprise that he's been Atletico Madrid's manager for so long.
His contributions and consistency in building Atletico Madrid have made them reluctant to let him go and replace him with another manager. I believe Simeone is irreplaceable for Atletico Madrid, and there's no guarantee that his successor will be able to deliver as well as Simeone did for Atletico Madrid.
