Receiving a red card in the first half of the match and then still dominate it until the last minute, you can still see that Atletico had to fight for their lives against 10 players because Barcelona is better. This wasn't the usual procedure how matches go. Normally they don't receive a red card in the first half, the red card gives Atletico a free kick and then that free kick turns into a goal.

I would like to see 10 first halftimes repeated between these two and I think it would not one single time be the same. That is why it is a bit shortsighted to say Atletico was so dangerous and they kicked out Barcelona. I think the circumstances count.

So for me the knocked out of Barcelona was caused by the referee's poor decision, like if he hadn't sent off their players the Barcelona probably would have made a comeback, but unfortunately, they couldn't....
