To be honest this unpredictable of football can be quite tough for gamblers sometimes because Atletico Madrid did very well in the champions league and there was a lot of hope on them to continue the same thing but they ended up losing to Real Soeciedad just like that after what they played with Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid is a team that is worthy of being at the top of every table and there is no doubt about this, but i don't understand how a team that is not consistent can do well, how they expect there to be teams that manage to stay at the top despite not being able to achieve good results continuously.

They deserve to be at the top. There are other teams like Real Madrid who deserve to win trophies. To be at the top, those teams need to perform consistently, which is not possible for many teams. Barcelona have been performing fairly consistently since the beginning of this La Liga season and they are still at the top and have a strong chance of winning the trophy, but there was a stage when we thought Real Madrid or Villarreal or Atletico Madrid would be at the top.

Yes I totally agree with you and I believe Barcelona are a team that deserves to win the trophy this season and they deserve to be at the top. Barcelona's consistency and their performance has earned them this title. If Barcelona had not lost in the UCL I would have been very happy. Because they were also worthy of winning the trophy in the UCL, but sometimes we have seen Barcelona's performance being very bad which may have resulted in this result.

At the moment we are seeing Arsenal's bad times and if Atletico Madrid can use this opportunity then maybe Atletico Madrid can win. Arsenal are under a lot of pressure at the moment

If our predictions always end up correctly then the excitement in football will gradually fizzle out with time, a lot of people including myself thought that Atletico Madrid would comfortably beat Real sociedad to the trophy in Copa Del Rey final, after beating Barcelona everyone would have thought that Atletico Madrid should have gained more momentum to face any teams. Instead it was sociedad that stole the show by taking the Madrid club to extra time and penalties.

Finally it's matchday in the La Liga! There was no weekend game unlike the usual. But this week there are going to be midweek and weekend games both which sounds more fun! 

There isn't much of an interesting game other than Real Madrid - Alaves. Because the other ones are between aimless teams mostly. Real Madrid will win most probably at Bernabeu but there is no way they are making a return for the title race...

Even if Madrid has no more chance to compete for the title, they have to win it. Losing at home against Alaves when they get 1.27 odds to win the game is gonna be a shameful result. All of their players are ready. They're also having no burden caused by they're 100% trophyless this season.
That's why i hope their players to show some shame due to this trophyless season by show all of their passion in this game.

I watched the brilliant performance from their academy at youth league final. it's shameful if the main team delivers worst than their academy did. But i believe this is not gonna be an easy game for sure. So my expectation to bet in BTTS caused by i believe a home game won't guarantee them to secure three points without concede, though it's a home game.
It's also to anticipate a joke squad composition to be performed by Arbeloa.

Are you sure about what you said, Atletico Madrid gave up the CDR trophy to focus more on the Champions League? Mathematically, the match against Real Sociedad was the final, with no more CDR matches scheduled after that, so the defeat was purely their own fault for not playing as solidly as they did when they wanted Barcelona in the CDR and UCL. I'm also not sure Atletico can win the UCL trophy if their performance remains unstable, after all, the opponents they will face are much stronger than Real Sociedad. I feel Atletico's fate is almost the same as Real Madrid's, which has the potential to end the season without a trophy.

Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are facing same challenging this season, and in my opinion, Arsenal has better performance than Atletico Madrid especially in the champions league, but I can also agree with you that Atletico Madrid is capable of defeating Arsenal because they used to have strong performance against top teams. It's going to be an interesting and a tough match for both team. Honestly, I find it difficult to predict this game but I prefer Arsenal to qualify to the final maybe this will be their opportunity to lift a trophy.

Barca will likely dominate Celta Vigo in this match, they have lost their place in the champions league and now they will maximize every match to be able to show their dominance this season.. so there is no need to hope that Barca will lose because they’ll focus on winning consistently to prove their strength and not let Madrid catch up on their points. because this is their only hope of getting a trophy this season, so they will not waste this opportunity by showing their best performance.

Barcelona have lost their place in the UEFA Champions League, I'm confident they will put all their efforts in la liga because it's the only trophy remaining for them this season. Celta Vigo has better performance but they are a weak team to Barcelona which I'm not sure if they can compete strongly against Barcelona, because right now even Real Madrid I don't think they can stop them Barcelona.

Agreed! 9 points is more than enough for them to secure their La Liga championship even a few weeks earlier. It will probably depend on the result of the next El Clasico between them.

Let's say both sides continued to win until then (there must be 3 matches between). Barcelona can still have the last word while there are 3 more weeks left for the end.

Hansi Flick deserves a worthy rival to him so I wonder who will come to manage Real Madrid.

It is puzzling that atletico Madrid are not really performing well in their domestic league but they are doing very well In the champions league. Just because they lost to real sociedad doesn't mean that arsenal can eliminate easily, remember that arsenal are not really doing well I'm their league as well. The game might not really turn out the way you expect it to.

If not because of the history that Arsenal has when It comes to important games to give them title,  I will have given a percentage of qualification to be around 70 or 80 .

Both are currently suffering from same fate and it seems they have just one trophy  to fight for which iss UCL so iwill give them 50 -50 qualification chance but I doubt  either of them would be fit to face Bayern or PSG at the finals .
