Atletico have lost again. I understand that Simeone will now be fully focused on the Champions League, and that’s understandable, because in La Liga they have already secured a top 4 spot and won’t drop lower. There’s also not much point in competing with Villarreal right now, so it makes sense to direct all their efforts toward the Champions League. But on the other hand, losing to a team like Elche is still a bad look, I understand they’re tired after the cup final, which they also lost, by the way. But it feels strange to see a Champions League semifinalist losing to almost everyone.

Atletico Madrid seems to have lost focus on La Liga. They're just playing and don't want to waste their energy on the remaining matches-- especially with their match against Arsenal approaching, they don't want to waste any more time on matches they feel aren't that important. But they can't continue like this, even though they're eight points ahead of Real Betis, if they can't win, their position could be at risk.

Their match against arsenal is going to be a tough one and even though they might have a high chance of winning due to the fact that arsenal are currently in a bad but one other thing to consider is that arsenal have lost their chance of winning the Premier league title, knowing that they are going to lose both sides if they continue to be careless would make them give this game their best, it is a hard one to predict.

Atlectico madrid lost their game which i think they were trying to be careful not to get their players injured or hurt but that does not still justify or means they are going to win arsenal. arsenal may be in a very bad form but that does not mean a club like Atlectico madrid will defeat them because England team are always strong and arsenal is a no go area because they are good if not for their bad display lately but i still see them as a strong team regardless.

The match is unpredictable because both teams performance was very poor in their last three matches. I don't want to believe that Arsenal is also resting their players for the semifinals match just like what we feel Atletico is doing. Then why do you think that Arsenal will win the game after struggling to win tgeir previous matches but ended up losing them.

Well, I hope these recent injuries that saw Lamine yamal and Jao Cancelo leave the pitch isn't as serious as we anticipate but even if it is, it wouldn't be an issue now, they only have the league title to fight for with quite a considerable point difference which gives them some advantage against Real Madrid who's the only viable team in the title race. We will have to wait for the team doctors to come up with their findings and then the coach will address the press concerning the state of the injured players, however this situation doesn't change anything for Barcelona.

Lamine Yamal will most definitely be out of the season according the the reports from the medical team after 24 hours, but Cancelo could be a lot lesser.
I no longer think Real Madrid will be able to leapfrog them to be La Liga Champions. I one time had such thoughts but  I don't anymore. Barcelona have cemented themselves as La Liga Champions and nothing can displace that this season. Atletico Madrid are most likely to beat Arsenal since they're no longer with confidence,  that is the only good thing they can do this season.

Barcelona have 9 points lead and they can conformabley win the remaining matches but real madrid Don have guarantee to slay in form like that's and fight till the last match of the season.  Real Madrid are so inconsistent.  But let's see what's arbelova bring to something to Madrid. its 2nd season in a row for real madrid without trophy it's seem they can't this season as well

Real madrid have only hope and that's is El Classico and Barca  have also big problem in the squad the missing of has two most important player is missing due to injury so it's will be 50/50 match for Barca

That is and opportunities to real madrid to perform better in the remaining league matches because without yamal you will notice that Barcelona don't usually good and they can probably lose or draw game. Guler is not that important to madrid that you can said he will affect real madrid, because madrid still have no good players that can play is position very well in the pitch. The only player real madrid will be missing is there defenders that will ends the season without playing. But rudiger can cooperate let see if madrid can get the chance to top the league again. I’m not sure Real Madrid will be able to catch up  with Barcelona because the points gap is already too wide. They are now nine points  behind, and with only six matches remaining, that means Madrid would have to win every single game and hope Barcelona loses  three times, for the points to be level. Even if that were to happen, Real Madrid would still finish second because they are  behind Barcelona on goal difference.

In football, anything can happen, but in this  case, it seems highly unlikely that Madrid will suddenly  win La Liga. Even I would say that Real Madrid is likely to suffer more defeats than  Barcelona in their remaining matches

Slowly but surely, Barcelona are marching towards their 29th league championship.
With 9 points gap between Barcelona and Real and with 6 games to go, Real turning things around would be a miracle. It's just a matter of time at this point, although the stupidest thing Barcelona's players could do is to relax and start celebrating too soon.

The top two giants aside, it's a bit worrying to see Atletico being served their 4th league loss in a row. This time they lost to Elche in an away game (3-2). Atletico were 2-1 ahead up until the 30th minute when Thiago Almada was sent off and they had to carry on with 10 men, which didn't work out too well.
Atletico is the only Spanish team left in the Champions League, so I hope they will learn a lesson from their current failures and will be at their 100% when they face Arsenal in the semi-final next week.

In my own view Arsenal are much better in the Champions League more then the league competition. Currently we don't really know which club will get the opportunity to qualify to the champions league final this season. Athletico Madrid and Arsenal both are struggling this season to win a trophy both team have miss to trophy already and us only champions league they have some up on so they won’t ime to perform poor in the game against each other both will chase for goals. And Arteta and Simeone patterns are some how similar to each other this season,  they are not attacking to score alot any team that score first will start to defense to 90 mint just to score to goal.

Athletico Madrid is only clubs that remain in the Champions League as a laliga competition same to Arsenal, so this match will be a tough games and we can't predict the game till the games ends because no team will like to play in the pitch, no team will like to go trophyless this season. Barcelona and Real Madrid will g and be focusing on the laliga competition.

Real Madrid should forget about winning the trophy this season though except they’re ready to play as previous times. Real Madrid against Barcelona might not really seem tough probably Barcelona are likely to play dominating Madrid, I believe Barcelona will not miss any chance likewise Real Madrid although winning Barcelona will be a big come back for the club including all the motivations. Just imagine Mancity and Arsenal situation, who believed such will happen reason why I don’t judge, the only difference is Barcelona is not a weak club when it comes to final, Real Madrid should come back with full force next season.

Yes, that’s right. Atlético Madrid’s focus seems to be waning in La Liga. And they’ve suffered several consecutive losses in recent rounds and even lost in the Copa del Rey final. But I personally think that Atlético Madrid is preparing for a flawless performance in their upcoming match against Arsenal in the Champions League semifinals by maintaining their fitness levels so they can advance further. Atletico Madrid seems to be sacrificing their points in the La Liga standings for the time being. And I’m sure Atletico Madrid is preparing just as they did before eliminating Barcelona in the quarterfinals. However Atletico Madrid cannot keep losing in La Liga. And they must also secure full points so that their position isn’t overtaken by Betis or even at the very least Atletico Madrid must hold on for draws in their upcoming matches so they don’t struggle to make up the points deficit in the following rounds.

When Atletico Madrid lost to Sevilla I thought it was due to their poor performances but losing to Elche yesterday seems they have lost focus on the laliga, because they are already out of the title race. In my opinion, Diego Simeone used a good tactics here because this will help to maintain their energy to the champions league. I will be very difficult for Atletico Madrid to lose their position to Real Betis in the standing now because they are ahead of Real Betis with 8 points, which I believe they will do everything possible to hold their top four position in the standing. I don't think Atletico madrid will be afraid of facing a premier League club because They have experienced players like Alvarez.
I think there will be a surprise in this match because one team is in poor form, while the Another is focused on the champions League.

However, It won't be easy to beat Arteta team because They have a strong defense. The only way to do this is to press consistently until the opponent loses Control, which is when the gap can be broken.

Barca is already leading the standings by 9 points, which is a significant gap. I don't think Madrid can catch up to them since Barca is fully focused on winning the La Liga trophy this season, they won't let Madrid take advantage of any chance to gain more points on them. so Barca will likely sweep up more points from their remaining fixtures and successfully defend their La Liga trophy this year. as for Madrid, I think they’ll have to settle for second place once again this season.. even though there are still games left, their chances of overtaking Barca aren't very high.
