it is very natural that the project about bitcoin failed.  because no one knows bitcoin sources until now.  Satoshi Nakamoto was never seen and appeared.  So where is the reference for the movie?  if forced to make it possible the bitcoin film storyline will be inappropriate and seem only imagination.

Seriously that's a really nice idea am just imagining how it will look like thinking how the movie will go about but I believe if this kind of movie is going to be acted but I think I will be better if they don't specify on only bitcoin it should be cryptocurrency in general this will really help spread cryptocurrency and I believe more people are going to adopt bitcoin and digital currency in general. I remember four years ago when a project was launched asking to get funded through ICO, the team were asking to get funded so they can create a movie about Bitcoin which will star prominent actors and actresses, but the project was a big failure because they cannot present their identity and their credentials in making a movie, they cannot even present their past movie projects.

Now it's 2019 and so many things happen in Cryptocurrency, the news is everywhere and it becomes very popular on four corners of the world.
Don't you think these big production company like Warner Bros, Universal and Netflix should do a movie about Bitcoin?

Not really a documentary, but any kind of genre, like action, horror, comedy I think if the story and the plot is good, it could make a box office

A very good idea, with a movie made by a big company Warner Bros or Universal will certainly increase the popularity of bitcoin, in my opinion the most eligible to sponsor are exchanges such as Binance, Kucoin, Huobii and so on.

Instead of demanding huge exchanges to fund such a pointless movie, exchanges should use their funds to create more new campaigns for the community to participate in, some lottery and lucky draw activities are also possible, at least such shows will increase the number of hits and some significant transactions, the movie is not able to create such a style when people only care about entertainment and action movies. Biography of a person is also sometimes considered a dry topic, don't be ambitious more people will see about bitcoin

It's a good idea but I think movies without the owner to tell the real story end up giving a fictionalized story. I have seen several TV series try to talk about bitcoin and I thought they all missed the concept of how bitcoin works,now imagine a movie being done. Its a gamble worth giving a try it could endup being a blockbuster.

I think this is the best time to do a movie on this it could be a short play on the economic and political struggle Bitcoin has experienced in the few months. Maybe starting from it's origination that's where it all began then advancing to the success it achieved stating the various level it reached and it's all time high(ATH) then the recent challenges facing Bitcoin and possibly the future prediction for Bitcoin. Great idea for a new bitcoin movie to be released.
With this need that we have, I can realize that a culture based on bitcoin moves us and that despite the fact that we are a community of participants from all corners of the world, we are united by a feeling.

With the exception of "Cryptopia" I haven't heard of any of these other movies before. I hope to catch some free time to watch them all.

In fact, I've watched the "Cryptopia" movie recently and recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it yet. Great documentary.

Bitcoin has been finding it's way into television and movies for a while now.  It doesn't even seem to make news anymore.  I was watching the latest episode of Animal Kingdom and there was a scene where they were robbing some rich developers from San Francisco on their boat but were upset to find the kids using $1 bills to gamble with because they would, "settle in Bitcoin later."  It was a funny scene.  They then try to steal one of the kid's watch and it was a cheap plastic watch.  The kid said, "What did you expect, a rolex?  My Dad wears a rolex..."

One of the stories depicted from film related to bitcoin is that bitcoin is used as a medium of exchange for criminal act such as kidnapping with a ransom of bitcoin. I really don't think it's good for bitcoin while we hope that bitcoin's portrayed as a useful asset not only used in criminal case. I don't know if there are other element that lead to the message to the public that bitcoin is an asset that has a much greater potential for criminal activity. Obviously I don't like it because fiat is the currency criminals used before.

a documentary type of movie where some popular BTC investors will be part of it like Max Keiser or Pompiliano and then Bukele down to freedom fighters and whistleblowers because it will create a narrative that Bitcoin will be the answer for history not to keep repeating. its about breaking the chain.

There is a reason why this film about crypto and bitcoin is needed and I think it is to spread information among the public about the existence of bitcoin. I once accidentally watched a local tv series where at that time the cast mentioned the word bitcoin several time but I forgot the title of the series. I think there are two side to most bitcoin or crypto movies and that is a negative side and a positive side. The negative is that it is used in illegal activities and the positive is that it is used as an accepted mean of payment. But these two side have perfected the usefulness of bitcoin itself as a currency.

How do we exactly make it interesting though, with bitcoin being the center of the story, plus it has to compete with the biggest movie franchises if it's going to be released plus it's a difficult to do an advertising, I get the point that it's for more people to learn about bitcoin but we have to make it interesting.

Well maybe what we need is at least one producer in the entertainment industry dedicated to bitcoin.

Hollywood has been a great promoter of the American dream with the dollar as its main flag, but it has not achieved it with a single movie when a movie is a success and becomes transcendental, cultural and influential, Hollywood has released at least 100 films before of that.

We need people who want to make films, series and documentaries, etc. about the thousands of stories about bitcoin that exist.

It's like what happens with independent production companies, there are hundreds of them making content for streaming companies or studios of Hollywood.

Perhaps the story that best reflects the point is Miramax or Weinstein Company apart from the scandal if you check the movie catalog, the successful titles they have are impressive, but if you put the magnifying glass in more you will find guys like Quentin Tarantino who makes the movies he likes based on a genre he likes, no one was betting on the genre that he practically reinvented again.

Along the same lines, other directors and producers, who make the movies they want, so it is simple if there is no interest we will continue to have a massive lack of content in relation to bitcoin.

There will certainly be a movie about Bitcoin at sometime in the future. It is already made such a big impact on everyone, that that fact is inevitable. The question is when will it happen, and will the production quality be good enough? Will people be interested, or will it have bad acting, hopefully it is a smash hit, so even more people invest in BTC.
