why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO

Mining is the best means of earning in the cryptocurrency. ICO was cool until last year when scams took the advantage of it to scam people. And on IEO, the problem is that the project team will sell at a high price for you and in the tell you they have no power over the price when the token price fall by almost 90% in just a week.

To me, mining is the best and assured means of earning aside buying cheap a d selling high.

That's your opinion and should be respected, however I prefer investing than mining owing to the cost of electricity in my location and mining equipments, so I don't think it's profitable for me. Also, when I say investing, am not referring to ICO but rather IEO in major exchanges; I prefer trying my luck in IEOs and so far have had some wins and some losses too. At least IEO in major exchanges do not come with scams, so in ramifications better for me.

Sincerely speaking, you have been Frank enough. Atleast with mining you are assured of some profits maybe not as huge or quick as ICO returns might be. Mining might even be considered as a better calculated investment than ICO because of the controls you have over it. All you need to do is get your mining rigs and calculations right, then you are good to go

I do agree on this IF and only IF.

You are right. That is the advantage of mining compared to joining ICO / IEO / Bounty. Your points are valid but I think only those in an energy efficient environment, that is those in places where the cost of energy is cheap, will enjoy mining the more, of which I guess you are one. The truth is mining comes with peace of mind, if only one is mining the right coin and with the right equipment. Nevertheless, I prefer investing in IEOs to mining, although it comes with its challenges but when it is based on exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, Gate, Okex etc then profit is sure. So in my own opinion, i think it's worth the effort and attention more than mining, since I won't bother about energy cost, etc.

You ask about your personal opinion  "Mining and investing in IEO/ICO ". Until now I tried to invest and do a Bounty campaign. It is, in my opinion, easier and can give me a profit. Especially in the year 2017, many of the advantages I get.

I have not been mined because I think it is very difficult and requires supportive equipment. Although investments can deal with fraud, I think it's not a problem, because before determining the choice we can do some research.

Mining coins already on the market such as ethereum is indeed more profitable especially if the price continues to rise. But not everyone is interested in mining coins because of many factors and one of them is expensive mining equipment. ICO or IEO in my opinion is like speculating with high risk but also promising high profits as well if the project is good and traded on a good exchanger

What you do not mention is that mining is capital intensive, the money needed to start up a profitable mining rig is beyond the rich of many whereas one can start investing/trading with little and build on it. Most who come from countries where electricity is too expensive or where supply is unreliable know that mining is not an option but trading can be done even from a mobile device.

In here in my country it something imposible to get profite although the price of coin is high enough. You know the electricity is the real problem. and how about the device maintenance cost.

Your points are valid but learn to take calculated risks.  Sometimes investing in some good IEOs give reasonable profit, for instance, I made huge profit from SERO on gate.io. It's necessary to ensure you do thorough research before making any decision anyway, since the risk involved is high. I'm not saying mining is not cool, but it's not so profitable nowadays for individual miners.

Your points are right but there are also risk and factors that you need to think of when you mine. First, you need to mine those altcoins that has assurance that you can sell quickly and has high liquidity.
Next, you need also to check your rigs if they are working perfectly and of course taking care of them is a must. You may not know on how long the span of your boards, CPUs and GPUs.

Yes mining is good, I have a friend in a good place or location where the cost of electricity isn't much, so he bought mining equipments and have recorded good success. But however, on my side, the cost of electricity isn't friendly so i don't mine rather I find investing (IEO to be precise) as a better option. All that is needed is a good research on any IEO and most importantly the exchange it is taking place on. With the right research, exchange as well as "hype" you can make a good return in most IEO, although they come with their own risks.

You are right, from mining you can get a stable and constant income. However, you need to invest in mining not one thousand dollars, but at least several tens of thousands. To buy such equipment that can mine good coins already traded on exchanges.
If you have poor equipment, then you can only mine young coins that have just entered the market.
