ICOs 2019: A Year Of Success or Failure?

Many projects which even started off as ICO, are now switching over to IEO. Even the well-established ones, it is primarily because of the year 2019. This year we have seen much success with the IEO as a scam from them is yet to be heard of, so people, investors, bounty hunters are more and more trusting it and switching over to IEO. This year have seen a severe downfall to ICO.

Could you list any of those projects that switched over from ICOs to IEOs?

In 2019, it was more dominant with a scam project, there were some that were successful but not large, some failed because the funds did not reach the target, there were also projects that stopped for reasons of being suspended. and that's what I feel about the project in 2019

what about last year ? and the other previous years except the year 2017  . many years are also bad for the crypto and for the ico but i think the year 2017 is the only year that stand out so far  .  are we going to see those kind of year again ? lets hope so but for now only ico are are decaying but cryptos are still okay .

i still cannot finalize my answer to this question because the year 2019 is still currently running . there are still last quarter and everyone is still expecting some goodies during these period  .

For a long time, the cryptocurrency market did not show good growth and only fell and therefore very few investors want to invest in ICO because of this, if the situation with the cryptocurrency market changes and altcoins will start to rise in price, then ICO will again become much more successful, but of course IEO at the moment is much more profitable both for the companies that conduct IEO and for the investors themselves who invest in IEO. This year was a failure for ICO`s.

The question is not only about the amount of scams but just about the ROI. The bubble popped , there was no more money to be made at all, so why should investors invest?

The year of 2019 so far has been a year of hangover with some good ideas which cought the eye of public like IEO.

It's the IEO that is already dominating the crowdsale now, I haven't seen projects now that have a successful ICO because the market has already evolve to a new platform of crowdsale. People who are serious with their ideas now have to invest funds to list their project in IEO, unlike in ICO where projects can easily be fake as one with a good whitepaper and a better presentation of what the project could offer will easily get the attention of the investors without them knowing that the real people behind the project are not capable or only plan to scam their investments.

i think, the ICO in 2019 is not going well and most ICO projects fail.
if the project is successful, it cannot last long and some other ICO projects switch to IEO.

but IEO is also almost as fail as ICO, some IEOs also fail to maintain prices when they are traded. only a few look successful.so, in my opinion, IEO or ICO in 2019 is not very successful.

2019 is definitely a failed year for ICOs. in 2019 the ICO died and only the IEO was alive and continued to replace the ICO. When investing in IEO, we will be much safer

In my opinion 2019 is going to be a very bad  for the ICO project ,Many projects in ICO format are scammed with Investor .
That is why the project is no longer successful in ICO format. and 2019 is going to be good for the IEO project. I think in the coming days IEO projects will become more popular if the projects can keep their mission ticking. If they can make their work a reality

I don't think that will ever happen again. The hype of 2017 will never be repeated, whether it's in ICO or in IEO. investor interest has changed, they prefer to invest in old coins (bitcoin / ethereum) than in new projects.

and you're right. ico is dead, but cryptos are fine today.

why did the ICO die? New projects do not use old coins but they develop their own coins. more and more industries or companies are joining I don't think ICO or IEO will die. developments and updates will continue to occur, we just need to follow it. this year maybe ICO is not much in demand, but not all failed.

In my opinion, it will not be entirely correct to reason like this. By and large, the ICO format has changed to the IEO format, and as far as we know,
the IEO is now at the peak of its popularity, bringing huge revenues to its investors. ICO does not make sense because of too high a risk, but IEO is the same thing only on the exchange platform.

Judging by the current nature of things about ICOs I will say this year has not been favourable to them, in fact the power has changed hands to IEOs. As a result of bad results last year, ICOs which came up this year all switched to IEO and ever since then have not heard of much about ICOs again; so in all things, ICOs this year have been a failure. Also, I don't think ICOs will ever come up again as we are now wise, with a huge number of people not ready to take unnecessary risks with their funds anymore.

It was a Transitional year for crypto in terms of fund raising as we saw the IEO become more favored than ICOs. Irrespective of how disappointing ICOs have been over the years about two projects Ferrum Network and Miracle Tele has a good success. While this happened, I doubt we will ever go back to the ICO era again because the industry has grown so much this year with more improvement to do in the future and I don't see ICOs in it

what I see is that most ico fail, here what I mean is failure in the sense of raising funds because I see a lot of ico that do not have enthusiasts, even sad, there are ico who sell tokens for almost 2 months but do not get income from investors, the rest are many ico that lower their targets sellers so they can chase funds, but still this method is not efficient, it is IEO which is currently a trend because it is very easy to find funds there but must be careful because many ieo are scam

What happened to the ICO phenomenem of 2017? The craze which swept the crypto world and brought crypto based investment on a mass scale never seen before has subsided.

ICOs are still happening but with less fanfare and there does not seem to be any investor appetite probably because the amount of scams hugely outnumbering legitimate projects.

Add to that the number of bounty participants being scammed by the ICO project operators it stands to reason they are not promoting ICOs which has also contributed to the lack of ICO success.
 
IEOs have started to kick in and that too has made ICOs less appealing.

If by success you mean the price of the token is higher than at the ICO, then there were such projects, but there were very few of them.

This year in short is the success of IEO and the fall of ICO, even if we don't have to search to prove it, we already know as its obvious based on our observation that most of the bounty ran in the forum is already for IEO projects, it has totally replace the popularity of ICO which I think IEO will just continue to grow as it was patronized by investors.

If they can get a good ROI in a shorter term, they would again invest that money in new IEO and while they are doing that, those people who plan to raise through IEO  are already watching them, so they will run IEO confidently as they know they have investors waiting for them.

You don't need new highs to call a year good. 2018 was an obvious bear market. 2019 is a turning year where prices slowly recover and prepare for another rally. This doesn't have to take a year but two or three years even but ultimately it will end with a rally and then another bearish period.

If bear markets are bad then 2019 can't be called bad. Looking at prices we are still in a much better spot than we were in 2016 and before. If this year is bad then the last 10 years of crypto were also mostly bad.

ICO have failed completely. People associate any mention of ICO only with scammers. As a tool for the development of start-UPS, they have completely exhausted themselves. And even if there is a really worthwhile ICO, in which it makes sense to invest money and get a good profit - people will simply pass by, not trusting them in any way.

I do not agree with your opinion. The ICO from the very beginning had to be organizationally regulated by the states in order to register and check the team for the possibility of fraud, given the amount they collect. Without such regulation, this is a natural ending to this type of activity. States are already finally developing rules for regulating ICO projects, and when this happens, this activity itself should restore its popularity.
In the meantime, the ICO is still trying to survive. However, in the current conditions of the market decline, when new tokens immediately after the release of the exchange, the price drops many times, it is very difficult. New good ICO projects are still being found, but they are becoming much smaller. Perhaps this is also due precisely to the deteriorating situation in the market.

Well just because many scammers conducted ICOs for fake projects that were designed just to make them rich doe snot mean all ICOs were associated with scams and does not mean ICOs are a bad thing. I see many IEOs being conducted on various exchanges that are completely fake because the exchanges send fake data to Coinmarketcap and are actually owners of the scam IEOs which are being conducted on their scam exchanges.

Things might develop in the near future but for now the fact is IEOs could be in many cases far bigger scams than ICOs because the exchanges for those scams are in cahoots with them.
