No good projects from a long time

There had come many ICOs in 2017 and a good number of STOs in 2018 and many IEOs in 2019 but hardly a few have made it to 'relatively better than others' list.
I wonder why haven't there come potential coins like ether. The only project that looked promising to me this year was bittorrent which was lauched on binance launchpad.
But even that is not going so well these days.

We have great project out there, the major challenge is how to enable them get into spotlight. Current down trend in price of major coins has resulted to demoralization of investors. Without investors in the crypto sphere there will be no limelight if new projects.

That's not true. I have come across some good projects this year and I have seen some good projects yet to list through investigations and research. There are good projects just for one to see them as they are few in the phase.

With proper study you'll be able to find the hidden gem in the market.
Maybe majority would fail as they are not looking closely, and they are thinking that its the same market in 2017.

Without proper research, although it does not guarantee you success but at least your chance to succeed is high.
Just don't invest in ICO, IEO is the trend now and as long as its in big exchanges, it will always be as liquid as you want them, but learn how to get out when the price pump, which could happen despite the situation now.

The market's continuous decline makes us lose confidence and sell project tokens in a hurry.  Take a look at the top 100 of coinmarketcap, there is no project that does not discount and even the capitalization of the project decreases several times compared to the price of the ICO.
No one has the courage to keep any asset long-term except Bitcoin.  Because at least the value of Bitcoin does not drop deeply compared to other cryptocurrencies.

Always have new coin every time and give feature how to make investor interested with their new coin by giving many platform way, during with new coin ready list on exchange market I think old coin become lower interested by investor and can increase price down, maybe holding altcoin assets for long term is not good ideas because have many competitor for new altcoin to make old coin not less price on market.

Some does have a real product but they can't still market here because people are looking for great ideas and even with no product yet but as long as the team are reputable, they will risk investing their money on a certain project.

No, not really, for sure if you invest you will follow the project development and if you are not convince with the way they spend the raise amount, maybe others would feel the same and this might affect the reputation of the project and the team.

The fact that almost of us here evaluate whether a project is good or bad based on its price and market cap. So in a bearish market like over 2 years, how can we find a new good project? NNew projects are still coming out, but I think they're working quietly and waiting for the product launch, so a few of us can know about them.

Thats true, because there must be a good project to be used as an investment and the bounty hunter will be happy to promote the project. Indeed, since 2018 good projects have been very rare because investors have lost confidence and the bear market that occurred at that time.

Yes, absolutely right, 2017 was very profitable for everyone. And at the moment, all projects are very weak and very few bring good profit. Most projects right now do not worth investing, reason why it's essential to do all round research before deciding to invest in any. You mentioned ICO to be profitable again come 2020, I doubt if that's ever going to be possible. More sophisticated crowd funding strategies will take over, we can see from what IEO did this year, now about  90% of investors drifted to IEO on reputable exchanges. I really hope some new projects become exceptionally great because going by what's happening, most new team members are just in for the money.

what is said by you is a factor that often occurs and those are the characteristics that most likely many people know about it, in my opinion to be safer to join an IEO is at well-known exchanges such as binance, bittrex, huobi and gate.io

When you want to hold your coins for long term better use half for selling and half again for holding, we can only dreaming with higher profit after keep holding altcoin assets for long term because there are no good project investing after invest with long term, many people have disappointed why not sell when price on the top and keep holding until price down, before late you can sell your coin half.
