yes several casinos In Las Vegas now accept Bitcoin. I have also seen where some let you cash in Bitcoin for US dollar. Then at the end of the night purchase Bitcoin with the money you won! I don't think bitcoin is wide spread enough yet for them to make there own tables slots an etc. Bitcoin is slow when it comes to transactions If i was to build some type of electronic gaming I would build it on Tron. It is cheap and super fast!!!!

At least Vegas now is really into crypto as I heard tons of bitcoin ATM spreads the whole casino places?but if I am to choose?i rather use Doge than bitcoin because it’s more cheaper specially when Hype is happening in bitcoin I don't know some place where you can play gambling using bitcoin than playing gambling online through the use of bitcoin. I only see people plays gambling using their bitcoin is just by online gambling and also online casinos etc. I think the reason why people choose this because this is more convenient and hassle free to go on an live casinos. If there is some casinos that uses bitcoin in gambling using live casinos kindly please correct me thanks.
It’s been answered below you that in LAS VEGAS casinos are accepting bitcoin ,but I think to buy chips only and not literally bitcoin as instant bet in games

Of course I know that questioning my own opinion is always healthy. So, if you have some reliable sources telling that the majority of the visitors of Las Vegas-style casinos are very rich people, or "crème de la crème", as you put it, I'd love to see them What do they say, seeing is believing? Have you been to Vegas? I've never been to Vegas myself, but I've heard stories from people that were there couple of years ago. It's from them I learned about the common misconception regarding the average crowd in Las Vegas. Going there they were expecting to see what they saw in the movies, the elite, the crème de la crème. But in reality they were constantly encountering people who were looking more like rednecks and such And you know what that means? That Las Vegas is extremely overhyped, while its appeal and public perception blown completely out of proportion! Okay, with Las Vegas done and out of the picture, what can you say about the Monaco casinos (of the Monte Carlo fame)? Here we should definitely meet the crème de la crème of the gambling world and financial elites as it literally refers to the French origin of the term (with French being the official language there). In short, do Texan rednecks and their European peers frequent those casinos too? Can't believe that! Also, I've found an article on Quora with street photos and one pic inside a casino, from which you can get an impression on how the average visitors look in Las Vegas. Here's a quote from the article: Your impression of Las Vegas must come from TV & the movies only. If you’d ever been to Las Vegas, you’d know that most of the tourists there are not rich Maybe, all these crowds of tourists are only eyeing the rich dudes there (with their eyes wide shut, of course)

It's mean the casino accepting bitcoin to buy the chips at the day rate (commonly they use coingecko for the btc rate), We can not play with bitcoin, we need the chip on the table. But I'm not sure how long they will get the chips after transferring btc, as we know some platform will accept the payment after 1 confirmation, and 1 confirmation will take 20-60 minutes.

I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.
Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet
Most casino gambling sites have applied bets using bitcoin and of course this service is connected to the internet network. there may already be a number of casino gambling venues that can accept bets using bitcoin directly and of course casinos must provide bitcoin properties like existing casino gambling games, because after all bets using bitcoin must be connected to an internet connection.

The idea of using bitcoin in games is great but in gambling is painful. It is like someone is just throwing away his bitcoins. It would be much better to spend those coins that are planned to be used for such risky game in charity so that at least the holder will help some poor soul. Instead of wasting time here, it would be much beneficial to do bitcoin trading and make good amounts of money.

Given that it requires an internet connection but he's not directing to the online crypto casinos that are obviously accepting bitcoin. He's asking into those casinos that are established locally that are accepting bitcoin. Like, you can gamble with their slots machine with bitcoin. I haven't seen the process but as been said, this is happening in Las Vegas and probably somewhere else.

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
Its not the future its the present, where Bitcoin helps makes gambling easier it can be expected to expand but that doesnt mean there isnt a continuing reason to have conventional gambling using FIAT or a variety of currencies. I think the velocity of currencies is raising over time across the globe, it will peak at some point and settle down but meanwhile this atmosphere favours crypto as a means of fast payment without red tape, various costs.

This is definitely going to be the future of the casinos online and offline, and it's actually happening some Crypto investors are also gambler and prefer to play on gambling casinos that accept Cryptocurrency whether it is online or offline. I believe gambling is the first industry to fall because it is easy to integrate it, gamblers can track their payment and withdrawal and so are the casino operators.

Instead of wasting time here, it would be much beneficial to do bitcoin trading and make good amounts of money. That is what I think for the first time I gamble, but later, after I found dogecoin can be used in gambling, I try to use dogecoin than bitcoin. And I like it. I don't have to use a big satoshi to gamble, but I use dogecoin, which can minimize the amount of satoshi in bitcoin. Using 0.005 btc for buying dogecoin will give us a lot of amount of dogecoin, so I can use it for gambling for at least a week, depending on my bet. Using bitcoin for trading will be a great idea than to use as the bet because, as you said, we can make a profit in bitcoin. The profit in bitcoin can be used to trade for another coin, or we can convert into fiat.

what do casino and bitcoin have in common/related/alike? the only reason why bitcoin is such a hit in online casinos is because of its convenience and is accessible even to countries where gambling is illegal. also the OP is not talking about online casinos. you should really read the OP before posting anything to avoid posting off-topic stuffs.

However hard I tried, I couldn't manage to find any evidence that the most players there are not rich. Average Joes do visit the place, but mostly as tourists, paying 17 EURO for entry, walking around, making photos, making several bets at most, just for the record, and leaving. So, returning to where we started, the cashier of the Monte Carlo Casino should rather be accepting BTC, because it is very likely that a big part of the players there have it, and would love to have the opportunity of exchanging it for casino chips. I read that "the cashier exchanges any currency" in the Monte Carlo Casino. So, why not Bitcoin then?

You are a little bit off topic, the OP was talking about using btc to gamble in brick and mortar casinos, not on line. IMO I think we'll have to wait several years from now to be able to gamble in btc in real casinos. But it will be a great move.

Woah. Las Vegas adopting Bitcoin as casino money is something to be appreciated. It just means Bitcoin is getting more mainstream than ever. They will be sure to contribute their own part in the growth of crypto. It's only a matter of time when Trump will add bitcoins in his own casinos

So the best is to keep it in wallets and not risk in gambling.

So the best is to keep it in wallets and not risk in gambling. See, this is just another argument to say that merchants should not use bitcoin because it fluctuates in value. However I would not go with this argument. I feel that the daily upswings or downswings can be calculated real time just like we have in gold shops where the current price is used to calculate the value of the ornament that you buy. In this similar manner a brick and mortar casino could use bitcoin to accept deposits. But the problem is the acceptance and popularity of bitcoin. The few problems that happen are: 1. Loss an anonymity that bitcoin was providing you. You are giving yourself away here. 2. Chances of getting attacked outside the casino by stalkers/robbers/scammers. Now when an online casino can keep you safe from these problems, why would one go for the land based casino?

Now when an online casino can keep you safe from these problems, why would one go for the land based casino? Maybe, high-class hookers as in blackjack and hookers? Well, you can indeed ask why go to a land-based casino if you can just get along with hookers alone, but then I could ask you in turn why go to hookers if you can be as happy with your wife (or even without a wife)? This is the same with online casinos as they are more like your wife if you have one, or whatever. But if you are not quite content or happy with the package that your wife comes with, there are hookers, there are land-based casino as well to make up for the void you may feel

It depends. If bitcoin survives, then I think online Bitcoin gaming and betting venues will also survive. I don’t see any reason for disappearance of the current bitcoin casinos. Both gambling and cryptocurrency aren’t expensive toys for rich people, but popular ways to take a rest and gain profit at the same time, and the more convenient casino sites, the more clients it has.
Speaking of convenience of usage, bitcoin casinos are much handier than common ones. They’re anonymous and don’t require transaction fees. Moreover, the fact that player don’t need play taxes for bitcoin winnings serves as extra stimulation to using them. roughly speaking, gamblers have many reasons to switch from common casinos to bitcoin ones and many already did so. In such case we have all reasons to say that Bitcoin gambling sites are going to dominance and prosper.

Taxing Bitcoin gains is just a matter of time. I'm sure governments will find a way to implement a taxation system, and the casinos that want to stay afloat will comply. But that's not to say that gamblers will be playing less in online casinos because of that. As you rightly said, there are many reasons to switch to online gambling, and I think in the nearest future at least 50% of all gambling will be taking place online, while today it's less than 15%.
