Why its hard to attract investors

Many investors need a money back guarantee with augmentation. Each investor wants to make money on this and they really do not like to lose their money. At the moment there are very few strong projects that you can believe in.

Basically, what an investor is looking is the assurance that they can have in return for their investment. Most of the times, even assurance isn't there replaced by the negative reputation by previous projects in the market that leaves a bad image. If I am in their position, I'll seek for better and improved investment platform that will give me more ROI.

4 Letters.... SCAM!!!!!

A 4 letter word but for me, that changed the trend of ICO's. In 2017, there are many ICO's who became successful and there not that much scam at that time. In 2018, the number of scam ICO's increases and because of these investors are now afraid to invest in the ICO's. This is because they don't want to throw their money into a project that will become a scam project in the future.

This is why it instead of investing in ICO's, it is better right now to just buy it on an exchange if you believe that the project will be huge in the future.

There were scam project in 2017 but only that the market was at its peak, lots of project give good returns so the scam project were not very obvious because the market was booming, 

2018 was the period of great bearish period and this reveal the true colors of most project, it was easy for people to fakeness of the majority project,

2019 is mostly base on taking precautions base on the experience of both 2017-2018, now investors are more careful to select the kind of project to invest on, only project with purpose, with service to offer that will triumph this time.

What you write in this thread is true, there were many peoples come to crypto sphere and investing their money on crypto project ICO.
If only there were no scam ICOS, peoples would not leaving cryptocurrency and keep investing their money.
I think it is because many ICO were offering the return to investors too high, and it was not meet the promise, then investors left.

Scammers are to be blame for this, they are the reason that no one is willing to trust ICO projects anymore even if they are legit projects, investors can't take the blames if they have no interest in ICO anymore, i as a person won't dare invest ICO

   Yes that's the reason why it has become hard to convince people for investing in crypto as they have to face alot of issues here but I must appreciate that now in crypto problems have become vanished and people got opportunity to invest fairly as little research can help us to get that site and i think people also should try already to gain from crypto investment.

it is very clear that they are to blame, but we don't know who they are. various ways have been done, such as giving a red sign, revealing the identity of their project, and many things. it will not make investors return. Well, IEO might be able to fix this and filter out projects that really have good prospects, it's just that a good IEO won't appear every day.

for now, we've all helped each other by showing good projects, and popular IEO. other than that some people are always looking for deficiencies that a project has in fact, if we pay close attention, the risk of getting a scam will be very small.

Many investors got scammed in 2018 during the era of ICOs when the market was bearish and this has made many of them to learn their lessons. Some have opted out and decided not to join any form of crypto investment again. The remaining ones have learned great lessons and now perform extensive research into the project before joining. Investors have been fooled for too long and now they do have to be smart in determining their investments. whether it's a new project. IEO or other Altcoin. now they don't want to be easily fooled. I don't know if you guys noticed this, i belief many investors have leave crypto since ICO disappointed many of them, we don't have many investors like we used to when ICO was good in 2017 and now that IEO is even safer i am still not satisfied with the results yet, investors needs assurances and there is no such thing in crypto world

but why will they leave just beacause of ico ? what about cryptocurrency  ? cryptos can also act as a form of investment and they wont be disapointed with cryptos as long as they will understand that its unstable  but atleast it wont scam them as soon as they will only invest on well known coins  . also ,not all ico are disapointing . they shouldnt put the blame on other projects and besides there are now ieo's that can also be used as an alternative for a while  .

quite a lot of investors who complain because they get a loss when investing in ICO because of the many frauds that occur in the ICO. and when I switch to IEO it seems like investors are adapting to invest in it, I think IEO can be better in security when investing in new projects. expect that many investors will believe in security in IEO

People change to IEO because they think IEO projects is better. Maybe it is right because if developer not serious, they wouldn't really care about sale, and in IEO, which i don't know how the mechanism about it, maybe need more effort from it's developer.

Everyone has lost, scam projects abounds now investors are tired of losing money. Most projects lack utility, clear roadmap, unqualified team members and so on. Investors need more than a whitepaper to convince them to invest.

Everything in my opinion is down to the fact that there are way too many scammers lurking around to defraud unsuspecting investing public. The moment these are chased away or at least reduced the confidence that people once had in this ecosystem will be back

one of them is that investors are now turning to the IEO project and is currently trending. ICO's reputation is very bad right now so it is very difficult to find investors even investors don't want to glance at it. even though there are still some ICO projects that are really running well, that's why many projects are currently failing due to lack of investor funds, sad for me.

I hope in the future there will be a movement to fight the scammers, so that the reputation of the crypto market will grow even better. specifically the ICO project.

It is because of all those negative news that are being spread by the media. The government controls most of the media, you know right? And most of the government does not like the concept of crypto currencies. After all they like to control people and their financial aspects. Now the government can't control crypto currencies, thus they hate it even more. All they do is talk about the dangers of crypto currencies thus people kinda hesitate to invest on crypto currencies.

People want to make fast money with low cost so they come out with fancy project ideas but actually scams. Investors are not all fools, most of them will not risk their money on unrealizable ideas.

In 2017 investors still believe in the ICO project, because by investing in the ICO project they can get a large profit. But after the many Scammers that made investors lose their money, it is now difficult to convince them that they are interested again in investing.
