New investors getting a lot of scam because i think it’s their lacking of the analysis regarding which projects. But there are many experienced investors lost in the various projects but which are looking reliable in that case your reasons are wrong. Even a lot of projects launched real products but ultimately they got scammed. You cannot predict which are worth investment at the moment. Because many legitimate projects going scam.

Beside that you have mention above, i will give my opinion for this case. People who get scam from new ICO just speculate when they decided to  join in it. Easy to believe what dev said about the project and just interesting on profit without considering the risk they will take.

I think that many people assess the risks that they take, but even after the project is unsuccessful, they still continue to make the same mistakes and choose the wrong projects. paradox

One principle they known about investment is "invest for long term" or buy today get return in the future. Its really gamble mindset they still keep it up in  their head. Once they get scammed, then they will blame the others, but actually we can analyst every new project, at least we dont get scam first, that was good.

investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.

they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really

Ye its true sir they got scam easily because of many promises of developer. Thats why many investor are got lost there money. Maybe before they join they can search first the project if that good or not.
Also some developer are greedy because they offer a good profit of there projects but in the end the project is not good.

I think the most important reason out of three will be a lack of knowledge. You can not invest in a project if you do not have knowledge about it.

People are easily trust when they see good offers and think about it as easy money which can give good return for short time though not having knowledge about it. Out of greed and because of need of money, people got scam, mostly become a victim when you are thinking where to get an amount easily.

I think it is because of lack of self constraint.  I agree that your given factors are all correct but if a person have self constraint then it is possible for him to evade scams.  Since he will not be eaten by his own greed.  They also are too lazy to do their own research.  If one have no knowledge then researching it is the answer.

I think the obsession to get rich quickly is the wrong thing to invest. Some ICOs have the opportunity to benefit, but ICO risks are now greater and vulnerable to manipulation. The IEO has given investors a little relief because tokens or coins are not obtained directly from the team but involve exchanges that investors can sell back to the stock after IEO is finished.
However, every investor should not be too easy to believe in the IEO project, without research they can still get a scam. Do not rush to invest in IEO, after you get enough information then you can decide to join or not.

The main problem here is the lack of readiness to perform individual researches on projects and coins before investing. Without running checks on these projects, it is very difficult to identify which one is scam and which one is authentic and this raises the risk level of ending up in a scam project. Although IEOs have taking on ICOs with their well structured way of token sales, not all IEOs can be trusted.

These 3 are what I can say are the top reasons as to why people fall into scam projects. Another reason below those 3 is "Influence". Crypto is a space where the price/progress can be driven by pure emotions and sentiments. Forbes and John mcafee endorsed this MLM-like ICO and is now in huge problem as they face court and legal issues. Many people believed in it because of the people promoting it in the front-end. I would not even trust those guys anyways because you can almost get exposure anywhere using money.

Most people want to make good money and do not apply any effort. Therefore, the more profit a new project promises, the more people decide to invest in it. The possible large profit closes people's eyes and they stop studying information about the project, thereby falling into the hands of scammers.

yes I agree with the 3 points you have mentioned above, some of the points above are indeed the facts that occur in this crypto industry, greed is a negative attitude held by some people, so the lack of knowledge is also one of the reasons why often encounter fraud projects, and my last point will only add to the suggestion to always do detailed research and never depend on anyone before joining any project.

Of course, lack of research is one of the main causes why people fall into scam projects although some scam projects cannot be identified even after performing research on them. It just kinda saddening that these scams will never ever go away just even how these scams emerge outside crypto and even non-crypto related projects.

Crypto is vulnerable to fraud, because here people can hide through anonymous. They could have displayed photos and documents of other people to launch the action. But in the end we have to realize, even though the project looks legitimate, the potential loss cannot be prevented. By this, I want to say that fraudsters feel more confident and can launch one project after another, so that they could only deceive participants' funds.
