People are easily scammed in crypto world with based on the fact that people sees cryptos as a very short route to become rich ie get rich quickly, they were amazed with the turn around and fortunes of pre-ATH 2017 investors thus are easy prey to any forms of juicy promises and bonuses to invest on crypto projects that has no future whereas the gullible ones will fall in easily, I had witnessed many ICOs that deceived investors into buying their coins while dangles them with huge bonuses which laterturns to scam after collecting investors funds they ran into thin air.

Good point but that is the main target of the management in every project basically people dreaming to become rich once they investing in ICO before but now we also have an IEO which is less scam but definitely without a proper knowledge the high risk to end up loosing money is a high possibility  because of the so much trust.

In my opinion, the reasons why ICOs failed are still dominating the crypto token sale processes. They end up loosing and they don't learn their lesson after all the troubles they see on their road. The right feeling can show the crypto investor which management type suits better the investing needs and all they need is the consolidation  of knowledge and investing skills.

It's not about fast profit but remember so many people are still lack of education about how to know which is a scam coin. Education is needed but some newbies are still following the trend and they are investing based on the trend of crypto. If there was a lot of people are FOMO to the project A and newbies will be following those people.

Should be taken seriously if you are into this industry. Following the market trend without doing your research will make you regret when you failed to anticipate the right timing to buy or sell your assets. I don't think anyone new to the crypto market is that stupid. they must be investing in assets that are already in the market for the first time. but if someone does as you say, maybe he's really stupid.

I think you got all those points right. For the one thing why people get scammed is that they want to get easy money. Thinking that their investment would jump right away. So they try investing without even studying properly the project.

usually also because they hear the words of others without doing research before joining a project because they do not have much knowledge. so I think knowledge is more important than big results because if you have knowledge good results can follow it

Another reason, doesn't have enough patience to wait.
In this market condition, i think we better waiting for bullish market to investing on crypto project.
If we don't have enough patience, we cannot take our time to doing more research on other good projects.

Usually it is done by newbies who do not understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem. They are only lured, as the OP said: greedy. Want to profit quickly without understanding the process. If they want to learn more patiently and seriously, their investment will not be wasted. So many were influenced by FOMO, finally carried away by emotions so that they ignored the analysis. If so they are just like betting.

People scam easily simply because of they greediness that make them careless and because they don't have enough knowledge about the project, for example the developer of the project really intent to scam their investors and supporters, at first they will not show their true intention and when the project is going good they will show their true motives and scam those investors and supporters. I suggest you stop talking about ICO because it seems like it's not already existing in the crypto space now, what I mean is they are slowly losing popularity and they are not raising enough funds anymore.

IEO is what people like now but since this market is not free from any risk, there are still a possibility that we may loss our investment here.
By educating ourselves that's the most important thing to do, everyone of us here are just self educating ourselves because that's our only friend for us to be safe when it comes to investing in crypto.

I think almost of us, include me. We come to this market because of the story of peoples who invested in bitcoin and altcoins early and now they become millionaires, so with that hope, we are willing to spend large sums of money to enter the market in the hope of changing our lives.
