From my personal point of view, sometimes people who have experienced deception in crypto really don't know much about the project they are investing. Like just seeing from the benefits, without seeing the project as a whole. So that this is what makes trapped in a bad investment in the project.

It is a faux pas that lies in someone who has no experience in crypto, so he can be easily deceived by scammers who make projects, so it's different from people who are experienced enough in crypto, he will always analyze before making investments in the project.

Unfortunately not many people do that (analysis). Many people who are deceived only think of the benefits (estimates) provided by the project. So they only focus on that and that. I don't blame them, that's their choice. But it is unfortunate if continue to be fooled and deceived in the crypto project.

Agreed. But i think It's probably lack of knowledge makes them got scam easily than others reason you mention. Most of newbie traders dont have proper idea what they investment for, they do invest when Fomo. So Knowledge is most important thing before final any decision

In my humble estimation to have money is not enough to make profit from an investment, l think you need to have knowledge about this world. As you above mentioned lots of people who got scam easily lack knowledge. They want to get a quick profit and without making any effort, but it is impossible.

Few years ago when Bitcoin is about to bullrun at $19k, I always based my trading in shills. Twitter is my trading signal, I do not had a proper research about the coin I am investing. I do not had any fear that time because even shit coins were going up.

Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

Your points are not valid for every trader because greed, lack of knowledge and trust are not a problem for a expert or pro trader, only newbie are vulnerable to these factors.

All your points are correct but they can but we can't really blame a newbie.

First, the crypto market is filled with scam, that is why we cannot really blame an investor for falling victim. As we are looking for ways to avoid being scammed, scammers are looking for newer methods of scamming. One essential step every one should take is , don't give in to hype and juicy advertisements.

What say...I got caught in a Scam and lost my investment. Even though I have been choosing and making an assessment for a long time, unfortunately, the situation on the market and in the world is different now. Well, they might think that it's easy to get rich through the internet. only by investing in HYIPs that promise 300% profit in just a few weeks. Well, if it wasn't for greed, wanting to get rich quickly, and impatience, I think they would find it hard to invest in a scam.

You are right. now a scam project might work very neatly. a lot of events and it looks like they are really serious about making an event. even people who have been deceived sometimes too long especially for someone new.

It is impossible to identify the good project because every project during their crowdsales seems to be very impressive where a large number of people will start promoting it, even the company profile seems to be very unique and the team members seem to be unique after fundraising only we can understand the real behaviour from the team members.

It is true. many new projects look scam when their sales are complete. some have even launched their platforms and then they have disappeared carrying off the money of investors and traders interested in their projects. This makes many investors sometimes get stuck in the same situation repeatedly.

After the sale period and the distributions of tokens those developers behind will disappear without backing up the projects after being listed, this kind of scammers are very hard to identify since they are looking good while in the process, they'll able to enlist the coin from exchange sites to the point that they'll allocate funds for big exchanges, but the sad truth will appear finding out that the team will abandoned the project and leave bringing investors money.

I would like to add the word Gullibility. Unfortunately many people in the upper lower and lower middle class and also some in the middle class, around the world, tend to find ways to make more money. They know words like diversify, putting your eggs in different baskets and setting up businesses. But in their quest to get more money they encounter many "too good to be true" scams, double your money, invest with us and you'll make quadruple. I mean it's sad hearing news of people getting scammed. I even heard of a 65 year old man scammed and robber got away with 4 million Philippine pesos. That is a lot and being an old man makes me even sad more.
