I think the main reason is greed, most of these scams have scams writing all over them and many negative pointers around them but most people ignored them because they are  looking for quick profit and they got made. Most scammers know the human behaviour how they behave and they exploit it

I agree with you on this. The number one reason for being scammed is greed. Little or no investment byet promising huge unexplainable returns should be a red flag but those looking for money by all means get scammed and fall for everything.

Scam thrives because there are greedy persons. Same with email and crypto scams. In fact some offers have scam written ball over them but because of greed, it's overlooked.

Id like to add fear of losing investments. There are scammers who will message you saying your account is unsafe or there is a new exchange being used in your current project posing as the admin of the project. You forget to check if his really who he says he is since your preoccupied with the thought of losing 90% of assets. And so you hand him your coins.

The scenario seems dumb. But someone i know fell for that.

People are easily got scam because they want to earn easy money and some or maybe most of the people are greedy they wanted to be come millionaire or to earn billions in a very short period of time. the only suitable habit, in this case, is laziness. Well, being lazy to collect information can make them easily exposed to a scam, because basically they don't know the concept of the project, the team, and other information. all they know is profit.

Unfortunately you're right, what matters to some of us are profit. So regardless on the purpose of the project (and if it has a real use case and working product) as long as there's a potential profit they will bite the offer and invest their money. Later then they will realize the mistakes they did and the importance of having a knowledge before investing.

I really pay attention to people's greed, because his resignation wants to have a quick advantage, so he is very easy to get scam in an obscure project. Without knowledge of crypto, it will definitely make us very easily fooled by the seduction of an unclear project. I agree with you. People are too complacent most of the time and forget to be extra diligent. Lack of diligence results to lack of knowledge and so they are easily manipulated into some kind of plotted schemes. Sometimes, our own burning desire can also lead us to wrong directions so we should really try to be rational and discern everything.

I don't know how people become greedy and stupid at the same time. Many say here it's greed, but I agree with this lot saying it's ignorace and others saying about impatience. A greedy person might have lots of patience to be able to get his plan working. A greedy person might be very intelligent to come up with a plan to scam people. But a middle class bloke with money to invest might be impatient enough to enter to a deal and not study it and see if its scammy or fraudulent in nature, but he is not greedy for money, he just want to double his investment and was not able to get to the information that would save him his investment.

Well, when they look at other people's profits, they believe that this market is nice and easy to make money. They then went naive and invested in bullshit projects in this market, or believed in the scammer's gifts. They need to get to know this market thoroughly before deciding to invest, or they need to be scammed a few times and then they will be smarter and more careful than before.

I agree that being greedy is one cause, but I don't agree if you think that there is no more excuse that those who get scam are all greedy. I have been scammed not because greedy, but because my mistake to invest without make a research. The proposal not like other scammers, the ROI offer not too high, even they are not promising to double my money instantly. Everything looks real as a normal organization. Just because i don't have experience about investment, i'm very easy got scammed in the past.

research will be important thing for every investors, by doing research we will understand what is the main benefit and feature from current project that will attract investors buying their token or coins. unfortunately most of investors didnt do this , they just buy while price cheap or pumped and after that they regret it just pumped and dumped coins. no basic fundamental support their price movement,

This is true, greed is one factor that if removed will reduce scams in crypto space, people get blindfolded with unrealistic rewards from giveaways or doubler schemes like ponzi, just to make quick money. If it doesn't look real, then there is no need to attempt it. It's surprising that someone sent 4BTC to the scam address related to Twitter giveaway scam as shown by whalealert tweet.
