The greed is the ultimate of all which has switched many people off, if you notice what most project managers emphasize in their Instructions is that you must not have more than one account. That's greed. Even some whales that struggle to make heavy gain and drag market down is one of those things
Another thing is Ignorance, those scammers and hackers are very wise and smart, some will send a message to your email to hack your account and one may not even detect. You need extra smartness to get them.

Tidovee the greed is ultimate reason why people get scammed. For emails, you have spam folder, hackers can't get you if
you don't open that email, and I don't open all emails, especially not the ones that have sensationalistic lines about huge
profit and big earning. And all comes down to that, big promises are the bait, you will not get scammed if you don't bite the bait.

BIG WINNER!

This is exceptionally true. Most times, we are been carried away with what the project offers forgetting that the owner might have a different intention. So many projects has exit scam because people were paying attention to the promises without looking at the fundamentals of the project. the owners, the development so far.
Yes, and people who are often carried away by what is offered by a new project are people who have not enough experience in analyzing a project and are always careless in making decisions, and eventually they will themselves become victims of scam by the project.

Yes. This market is full of scams and scammers. So you have to be always careful. Mostly the newcomers are the great target for these scammers. Most of them come to this market think that this market is full of profits. So they started to invest in wrong places and and most of them end with either loss or in scams. And this thinkg happens for only one reason that is lack of knowledge. Most of the newcomers are not interested in knowledge they are interested in money or in profit. So it's always remember one thing whenever you invest do some research in your own so you can save yourself from this kindle of scams.

Nowadays, there have been many scams since the extraordinary popularity or price increase of crypto in 2017, and of course, there are many modes that scammers have used to be able to get money or profits from their victims, including in this forum, we also often encounter  campaigns with prizes Actually used by scammers to get money through token sales (ICO) they do and usually projects like this offer a lot of conveniences and also advantages if investor invest in their project so that this will attract many people to join and get stuck in the project.
Be careful investing in the crypto world because it has many risks ...!

Obviously, no one wants to be scammed by anyone. If i knew the project is scam, i wouldn't buy their coin, simple as that.
Many people have been scammed because they didn't know about the project, it is fake or genuine.
Fake project maybe not a scam project, they really listed on exchange, but there are some pump and dump scheme to lure people.

In this crypto space there are lots of scams and fake projects. And most of the time they targated the newcomers of this space. Cause most popular of the newcomers don't try to gain knowledge they used to believe in that this market is full of profits. But that is very wrong. That's we they try to invest fast and in most of the cases they end up being bin scams or in loss. So be careful don't put your money anywhere. First watch the market gain some knowledge about this space then go for investment. That's the only option you can save from fraud or scams.

I think the biggest problem is greed So many people look at the potential high and just fomo into projects They never check risks till things fall apart. I have done this before Just calm down research and determine if it's worth it

Knowledge and high flying hours are needed if luck is said to be reckless betting on the crypto exchange market, Remember there is a risk of loss, don't be tempted to earn high, make smart and focused investments

In the past years, from 2017 to 2019, most people got scammed due to these reasons, but nowadays, most of the investors know about them, few investors are investing in pre-sale. Still, most of them invest in big exchanges IEO's not in ICO's so we can say investors have good knowledge compared to past years.

if they produce new methode, we must also improve our knowledge and skill to avoid this. investing in new project have take our effort more. its not easy to find new good campaign except we routine do dilligent analisys in every project occur.

Lately, lots of YFI fork projects are coming into the markets and most of them are turning out to be scam projects. People are still getting FOMOed into YFI forks because they believe they will be able to pull that same thing that YFI and YFII did.

I also saw a fork from YFI, namely XYFI, what do you think? is this a scam? Airdrop was also carried out,
the total supply was only 40000, currently XYFI is still a topic of discussion

I think it is because they didn’t do some research before. They don’t have enough information o how is the background of this community, how is the team, is it trusted or not. We must have some strategy, which is better and yes don‘t be greedy too.

it is primarily greed and fear of missing out, and then you do not have time to do the research, because you think that you will miss it out, and you enter without thinking
when it is something to good to be true, it is actually almost in every case to good to be true, and it is not true

Greed is human weakness which will be exist forever. Nowadays most people know about Ponzi schemes, pump and dump and get-rich-quick schemes, but they still believe that somebody can send them free Bitcoin.

Those who are scammed most of them are normally new to this crypto space. And most of the scam projects do some good promotions. So they attracted very easily and ended with those scam. And and there are many many scam projects are in this market. So it's hard to avoid them the only thing you can do is do some research before your investment only that can save you from the scams.

Oh yes, the marketing parts of these scams are really so good that they really entice people to join these scams and then in the long run their money will be gone. I think this community in bitcointalk are the lucky ones because if the newbies see all the information that the old timers put here, then they will be empowered and in the long run they will be able to learn how to avoid the scams and how to join legitimate projects.

I think you have three good points the first is limited knowledge that keeps them stuck in junk projects and big prizes are bait to attract market investment. and my advice is only one, never invest all your capital if you cannot return the feedback you will receive.Trust has long been lost, but greed is added more and more.

If we look upon the present Cryto industry, Situation truns into worse after defi hyip start. In past, people atleast did some personal analysis, but after defi hyip, people become so greedy. That's why they invest their money on defi projects blindly without single analysis. Some fake team grab this chance & scam all the money from people by launching fake defi projects
