investors spend their capital so investors do not carelessly choose coins, they must monitor and follow project developments before they decide to invest. but nothing is perfect every action has its risks. losses and gains are common in investing.
Investing does have risks, but there are solutions to minimize risk, for example losing money. Before investing, investors will definitely check whether the people in the team are real, so that every action of the project team can be held accountable.

Mostly they get trapped because they want to get rich in one single night, it has happened to me, to trust some unknown project and send the money hope for the best, profit comes with risk, the more profit comes with bigger risk, It was a tough lesson for me, but I learned a lesson to don't invest in an unknown project again, to don't invest in any project with empty Github.
Greed affects your emotion. A lot of people are getting scammed just as you say. They want some easy cash and make huge profits. Some does not even check the projects they invested in. Didn't even check the developers if real and the road map is realistic. They Just put all of their trust. Newbies are the usual targeted by scammers.

One thing is for sure, it's ignorance upon the project. They could be enlightened with those projects that are promising and too good to be true, in fact many investors would attract to such projects. And also people gets easily scammed because of eager to earn right away. They think that it's an easy money scheme yet in the long run they would just left behind and scammed.

Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world
1. Greed 2. No knowledge about the project 3. Trust
This are the three main reason why they get easily scam Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage. No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really what all expected.
greed and no knowledge is the main reason because like the old quote said "Risk come from not knowing what you're doing" wich mean people must learn before earn, so they will not get sammed easily

I would put "lack of knowledge" in the first place. Since people who have (at least basic) knowledge about cryptocurrencies will be more difficult to deceive and sell them "garbage coins"

if I do by studying and keep trying. even I started my investment and trading without knowledge. I had a good experience first and then became interested in learning more deeply. maybe I'm lucky, but it's a nice experience that keeps me going in this market. I don't blame what you said. but sometimes I have insufficient knowledge. experience in the market I think is more important in providing knowledge to us.

The crypto market has a reputation for being a sphere in which, with a successful set of circumstances, you can become very rich in a short time without major investments. It doesn’t matter if this is really so, it is important that many people think so. Therefore, those who are here because of quick money are always looking for an opportunity for easy money. Whether it is a trading signal which refers to the imminent growth of a coin or the free distribution of any coins in the form of an airdrop.
Therefore, people often simply don’t even understand what a dangerous adventure they are interfering with. Scamers act very cunningly. First, they make promises, then force the user to take certain steps, that is, the user is already spending certain time and energy resources, and then they just require a small amount to get the final result. A user who is tired of all this activity often sends his money just so as not to be disappointed because of the work already done.

I got scammed several times. Mostly from pre-sales and uniswap rushes. It is really very easy to be scammed if you invest in a new project especially in uniswap. When i find something impressive and hyped, time is always too short to decide. And sometimes that time is not enough to understand if the project is a scam or not.

A scam is made up of two components: the fraudster and the deceived person. Over the years fraudulent practices have become more sophisticated and innovative. The scammers are also extremely diverse they can be either new or old in their marketplace that generally believes in rewards. Therefore, it is flawed to say that the scammers are greedy, have no knowledge and have too much confidence in the scammers. We need to consider the objective reasoning of the fraudsters' progress.

Do not be too quick to label a project as a scam because we must first understand a scam's definition. The scam, according to the Merriam-webster site, is "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation," so the question is if there is a project that promises the value of the tokens they make will turn out to be worthless, do you think a scam or not?

Impatience too is another factor why people get scammed easily. If you are not patient to hold for a long term, then you will be looking for quick gains, the cost of quick gains is always scam. so, if people can be patient, the rate of scam will decline by a huge factor.

Also people got scam due to too much confidence or ignorance.. Many will ignore making thier own research before investing on a rpjext and also some have too much confidence in them selves by believing that they are always right.. These kind of people mostly got scammed.
