I'm guessing the new algo is causing a delay with pools?

what is the problem with the pools?
Pool works, but must be still tested. Also sgminer has two bugs. One fixed, other I'll check tomorrow.
I will open the pool if I found the first block and see that pool works really.

Does Fuguecoin have a testnet you can use to test it more quickly?

Hi, I'm a newbie testing to see if I can get a temporary pool running until a real pool steps up, in your Stratum config, which COINDAEMON_ALGO did you choose ?

ccminer does a fugue256 hash for the Merkle root. You might have some luck with it.

Chris84 (my co author) is currently running some tests on your pool.

Mining with a pool profitability ill be even less (pool fees) - I do not understand, that so many people suggest, that there is no mining without pools...

I mine (and mined) a few coins solo, when I will only get a block every few days, but I do not have to be bothered:
- if the pool is legit (or scam).
- on the right blockchain (or a fork)
- that the pool is down because of DDOS
- ...

On the other hand I like pools to test, how much coins I can get with a test setup, to see, if I am on the right  blockchain and many other things.

But when I decide, that it is worth to mine, 90%+ I go solo.

ccminer (cudaminer fork) crashes upon connecting to stratum. sph-sgminer runs but I don't get any accepted shares (best share does sometimes show data, like with solo mining). Only getting pool 0 detected new block. No shares since this picture was taken 10 mins ago.

Sgminer has 2 known bugs with stratum. The first I solved, second one not yet. Therefore I make cgminer with fugue support.

Don't get me wrong, I also prefer solo mining. But at the moment with FC I just don't find enough block

Hi,

can you tell me, which stratum-code you're using?

How many mh/s are you pulling to have a high variance? I'm finding about a block every 30 minutes.

You do realize the difficulty and hashrate is going to shoot through the roof once it hits the pools right?
