I don’t think that I even buy that idea there of having someone that will assist one in playing when one is not sick or dead,  and like you mentioned and I agree if anyone must go with this option, then the person assisting in plating has to be a family member. Yes, greed is the major reason obviously. However, the only way I can see this and the solution is to actually experience losses, experience consequences of them for a substantial amount of time to actually value and understand the weight of the risk of gambling.

Few years ago, I used to bet amount as high as 0.02 btc at risks like 3x or 5x and I knew I couldn't win in long run and still didn't stop.

You make a roll, and you expectedly lose. Well, maybe after a couple of rolls, or even a dozen, it doesn't really matter (you get the point). Then you double or even triple your last bet so as not only to recover what you lost at a previous roll (a series of rolls) but also earn something above that

Martingale is not best for me because I long for big win and want to play longer, with martingale, I could wipe my bankroll if I am not too lucky and if I win, I will just win a small amount, not satisfying at all. Everyone have their experience on this method for sure but for me its not working anymore, and one thing I learn is never chase your loses in a fast manner, its not wise.
