It is very rare to find gamblers that can handle such situations,I remember myself way back when I was still addicted in gambling that I often saying to cut of the budget or limit myself but after few bets and take losing streak things change and it’s goes unlimited again lol

But not now since the time I woke up from doing such,now I can say I am changed and can handle the desire of continuous playing when my budget is getting low,that’s what made me decide to quit and stop

Well you're right, sometimes planning ahead before playing is hard to apply if you're in actual game especially if you cant control your emotions. Greed and chasing losses are the main reasons why we often tempted to keep playing and forget what we plan. Well you're right, sometimes planning ahead before playing is hard to apply if you're in actual game especially if you cant control your emotions. Even me, I made a lot of mistakes or doing the same mistake again and again that made me chase my loses and end up nothing.

Descipline is very difficult to acquire once a person is drowned with gambling habits, limiting or controlling themselves is a big struggle. In eliminating this bad attitude, we need to look back on things that's very important to us, especially our family that binds us all the time. Once there's a financial problems I think, a gambler should keep in mind that family is more important than gambling so it should be the first priority and nothing else is beyond.

Basing it from my personal experience my friend who is somehow addicted to gambling always invite me to go with him not to gamble but to prevent him from spending more money. Him alone cannot stop at his own ability and he needs and he will continue to gamble until all of his money is loss. If a friend like me is with him we always remind him to stop even if he is winning I'll try to say that he needs to be contended with what he have and don't push his luck more. It's ok for him for us to di that since it is his own decision to make us do it. I'm really happy that I get to help him somehow on his addiction

The fact that gambling itself is addictive thing , I feel there's no way to prevent such actions / emotions to go allin in the end instead betting with small amount only as it planned before.

Everyone can claiming that with their way like 'only bring the money in fixed and put the rest of the money you have elsewhere, somewhere that you can't reach out.'
Or by thinking 'that's okay to lose this time , you can recover next time with cooler head later' or any other ways / 'techniques as you wish , but I just think such preventions way might work for one or two times only.

I dint think that it is ever  right to involve emotions in gambling in the first instance,  but sadly,  we all make this mistake several times for one reason or the other and I consider this habit really disturbing because it causes us so much loses and we are never ready to learn sadly.

The only people that have been able to gamble successfully without emotions are those that have been in the game for many years and I believe that they may have learnt from past experiences. Most times I promise myself I would play without emotions and the game just has a way of getting me confused and I end up repeating the same mistake.

Staying away must be a perfect solution for restraining ourselves at a small losses and not to spend big money there after. But, it will not work when your greedy leads you. Yes. We often make losses most of the time because of our own greed. We should not tolerate being greedy because if we do, we will keep on losing all the time. What i always do is to set an amount that i can afford to lose so that when i gamble and lose my money, it won't affect me that much. I try not to chase all my losses because it won't still do good. Instead, i just go home and gamble again on the other day.

It's easy to say but difficult to apply, you are right about having discipline and self control of a person to prevent them to spend farther more but what if that person don't possess that kind of discipline?, Well i guess that's the time that a person needs a guide or someone that can give them advice, prevent them from doing such thing, simply a person that is also by their side to always remind them and guide them to a better path that will not let them be in a wrong way, i'm referring to a family because family is the one that a person's most valuable aspect and i think if a person has a strong sense of family then i think he/she will think of them before spending and wasting too much money, he/she will just spend the money to the family than wasting them in gambling or anything else.

I don’t think that I even buy that idea there of having someone that will assist one in playing when one is not sick or dead,  and like you mentioned and I agree if anyone must go with this option, then the person assisting in plating has to be a family member. There can still never be anything as much as handling it by ourselves.

Gambling is meant to be a game played and enjoyed privately.  Carrying someone along would be risky since there are so many things that could be picked by the person.  I insist and advise players to learn how to be disciplined and stay in control of their games and to stop depending on people for guidance.
