What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction

Gambling addiction is very dangerous because it can make a lot of our property taken if we cannot control it. There have been many stories that prove where someone who became poor due to gambling. and in my opinion the right thing is we must be able to refrain from being trapped in these conditions. where gambling is just a game, don't use it to get income because it's so wrong.

I also believe that gambling addiction is far worse than cigar addiction. Actually both are not good one way or the other. Cigar is injurious to health so eventually one will be spending his savings on his health recovery. Whereas gambling is a bit quick in ruining. However, both do not let the addict realize what is really happening to him. Before he gets to understand his situation, it is too late.

Any kind of addiction is bad for you. You can't compare which addiction is worse than the other. Every kind of addiction creates some sort of barriers in your life which is harmful for you. Gambling addiction will make you end up penniless while cigars can make you physically weak and will eventually in the long run reduce your life expectancy. Even being poor brings mental stress causing you to lead a unhealthy lifestyle. Both are harmful in their own ways.

Unfortunately I'd have to say the gamble side is possibly worse short term because its able to be scaled up as a mistake in a short period of time.  Also an addiction involving money implies the addicted person will steal or embezzle money they dont have or own legally in order to continue gambling, so they are going to jail and going to be in alot of trouble and maybe lose everything.    Its pretty life threatening to have nothing and also goto jail where as the cigar isnt immediately a danger though still unhealthy.

My vote is that cigar addiction is worse then gambling addiction
I know people personally in real life who have got lung cancer from smoking and the same cant be said for people I know who gamble
They are both addictions which can lead you to suffer in life but cigar addiction is worse for cancer alone

I also knew people that become street dwellers because of gambling also and life was not that good for him,what I was saying is both gambling and cigarette smoking can bring us miserable life if we don’t take it seriously.

There’s nothing wrong to have vices if we know how to label ourselves in engaging on those,example is gamble with extra money and don’t risk your monthly budgets for this

Same as in smoking ,try to do it occasionally or in socializing and don’t smoke regularly so the risk of having cancer will not there.maybe these are very hard to achieve but if you do?for sure you will be the coolest gambler/smoker in the world

Anything that harms your body is bad for you and smoking kills millions around the world, in fact, most of the countries that sell cigar imposed a very high tariff and taxes, so people will be discouraged to buy a cigar, because the government is also spending millions to rehabilitate those who are afflicted with Cigar smoking.

In case of cigar I can say yes it’s harmful to your teeth and for your health as well but gambling is not harmful at all if people will remain careful and don’t make mistakes so it will not affect their pocket and people should control their greedy nature to reduce this risk of gambling otherwise gambling does not have any problem to gamble

It all depends on the individual, there are people who will only smoke when they drink occasionally and then there are gamblers who will gamble for the matches they view and there is another spectrum of people who are doing things to the extreme and if you think gambling can create wealth then you are going to loose the money you have with you rather than winning anything, so both have their side effects and anything done on a moderation is always good.

I prefers gambling to cigar addition as earlier stated a gambler despite having a series of losing streaks a gambler might hit a jackpot and become an instant millionaire while a cigar addiction is injurious to health and are always cautioned "smokers might likely die young" due to its hazardous effects on the internal parts of the body organs, in fact they are incomparable although a gambler might be bankrupt however there is the tendency that he will survive any hardship that arises from his losses.

Gambling addiction is a real thing. People don't generally give importance to it but it could be much more devastating than any other form of addiction as you tend to lose every wealth you have alongside developing mental problems. Though getting of Gambling problem could be easily done, people learn it the hard way.

I think that addiction and hobbies are different and you ask about someone who likes sports as a form of addiction, it's definitely a different thing. Regarding cigar addiction and gambling I think all things related to addiction at least it will be a problem if you do not have control, because even if you are addicted but when you have control I think it is still in the category of fine.

If we consider addiction to gambling as a disease, then it is not comparable with dependence on cigars, because it can only be compared with dependence on alcohol.  Perhaps I look at this situation in a special way, because if a person smokes, then he harms only his health and passively the health of others.  But you need to take into account the fact that a person who has an alcoholic dependence and is addicted to gambling and who already has huge debts is capable of doing bad things or at least will be forced to do bad things towards other people.

In my own personal opinion, cigar addiction and gambling addiction are both dangerous because cigarette addiction are dangerous when it comes to your health which it doesn't gives you any benefit, while gambling addiction are dangerous when it comes to your asset which it can lead you to bankruptcy and huge debts, that is why if you are using or doing both of it you should know your limitations because it is both harmful in all aspects of your life.

Yep it is a very different comparison but take note that both of them give negative effects to our body and our life so it is best if we just stay out to both of them.

For me cigar addiction because aside from your money that is wasted to buy, it will also affect your body and it can cause you death too. Yes in gambling addiction, it can affect your body too but it is easier to get away in gambling as long as you know how to control yourself but in cigar it will be hard for a regular user or cigar to stop it.

This isn't the best comparison, but these two could go along each other with almost 85% of people in the casino.
It's even worse when nicotine is mixed with caffeine. That's how gamblers believed to chill down their spine and vein after a long day of gambling, even in the process of gambling, or while in a bio break.

Cigar addiction! I don't see any possible side of the cigar addiction because it will mess up your life and your health, the gambling addition may be wrong. Still, it has a positive side, you can win, and the entertainment part is the best. The wrong side of gambling addiction is it will mess up your life, but that's it. No cancer and will not gonna end up your life. And besides, gambling addiction is much easier to cure than cigar addiction. Both are bad, but the worst is cigar addiction.

when i was still active or in gambling and addicted in cigarettes ,these comparison does not exist in my mind but not until i quit smoking when i realized how bad it is in my body,the first month i stopped smoking my body starts recovering and coughing leaves me for good,same when i control my gambling habits that i only played once a week and sometimes once a month.my pocket never lose money and so my life changed.

i say this for us to realized that there is many things to enjoy in life than these vices.but if there's one thing to choose i prefer gambling but with moderation

I  am deeply so sorry if this hurts you, but I really feel  that you do not so much understand the meaning of addiction, because if you do understand it clearly,  you would never really choose one over one because they are all very dangerous.

Gambling addiction is also dangerous to the health because I have seen a lot of addicted gamblers whose life's has been cut short as a result of the huge loses they have made and to think about the pains they always cause their families even make it worse than other forms of addiction. In my opinion, both gambling and cigar addiction are terrible it's not something we can wish for at all.

Well it is a fact that both are habit with a word addiction and can both inflict bad effects if abused but with the questions regard on which is worse then i will go in cigar well it is health relate addiction this may cost illness that if gotten worse you will spend a lot of money for medical expenses and worse you will die immidiately if not controled, while yes gambling addiction may also cause serious problems but it can be controlled by rehabilitating or self controlled and people can survive with this addiction than in cigarette.

While smoking a cigar has all the ill effects, gambling can have positive outcomes. Unlike gambling, there are no possible monetary benefits from smoking a cigar. While Gambling can make you a fortune, cigar smoking can only reduce your life. Nevertheless , addiction of either cigar or gambling can lead to miserable and toxic life. For me , gambling addiction would win over cigar addiction.

Both can destroy your life and it's on the level of addiction if one guy smoke a pack of cigar daily his life will be in peril in the next two years and it's hard to cure something you get inside your body, than something you put inside your mind, the healing process for cigar will take years while on gambling it will only take months.
