Well, it is always the gambling addiction which is worse.

Let's compare.

A cigar is harmful for health. Gambling is harmful for health (both physical and mental).

Cigar helps to relieve tensions and depression. Gambling might increase or decrease stress based on if you win or lose.

Cigar benefits last long. Gambling benefits last short as one quickly loses their money if they play long.

Cigar harms can be cured with money by buying medicine. Gambling harms can't be treated with money as the patient will not have any money left after gambling lmao

Although both addictions are bad and I recommend to stay away from both of them, gambling is the more evil.

Cigar addiction is worse, why? Even if you stop smoking, your lungs is already damaged. You cant get a new pair of lungs from any store and have yours replaced. We need to get a proper perspective on this

When your lungs are irreparably damaged due to heavy smoking, your whole life will have long been ruined due to gambling. You can be a chain smoker for 20 years (and still be mostly okay as far as your lungs are concerned), but you can't be a gambling addict for the same amount of time unless someone else manages your finances (read, you can't waste all your money within a year or so)

And addiction, and especially a gambling variety of it, is not something you can just stop or give up since otherwise it wouldn't be an addiction. This is true for both smoking and gambling, but unlike the latter the former doesn't change your personality. No matter how much you smoke, you remain the same person. This is not the case with gambling as it does change your whole character and personality (and not for the better)

One thing I noticed is when you are a cigar addict, more likely you are also a heavy drinker. I have not met a person who smokes a lot but a non-drinker. Both of this goes well together with playing cards with friends at home

Both can be worse, the level of addiction is what matters. Because at the end of the day, it's still addiction. Addiction was never healthy mentally. But with cigarette, not only our mental states that are only being affected but our physical health as well. It is slowly killing us. And with gambling, it might not affect us physically, but it can financially.
We can say that one is much worse depending on the effect it brought to a certain person's life. Smoking can lead to sickness while gambling can lead to loss.

Even if the addicting level is not too big, that can be worse because that will makes people forget about their health and their money. We should avoid becoming addicting to gambling, and so do with a cigar before it's too late. At least, if we have cigar addiction, we can try to reduce how many times we smoke until we can stop the addicting. That will happens too with gambling addiction.

It is easier to recover in gambling addiction with the help of your relatives and parents. In cigar addiction, it will be harder especially if you have health problems already that.

The problem with being addicted into cigars is that it will be hard for them to stop it immediately for some reasons. They can minimize it from lets say 10 cigars each day to just 8 and then 5 then 2 then 1 then stop it totally. However, I don't think smoking cigar just to warm your body is a good habit. I mean, there are also other ways to keep your body warm like drinking coffee or just wearing a jacket, right? to be honest I am a heavy smoker , because for me , its better . better than be gambling maniac, a simple reason , when i play some gambling games , I can spend two or three times more cigarettes than usual on a day. for reminder , I used to consume 2 packs of cigarettes a day.
