How you don't see that Bitcoin price is growing from the beginning of the year? We are in the stabilization phase, so alt season can start in any moement, sam as bull run can come in any moment. Im not saying that this will start tomorrow, but market is stable now and prepared for fresh capital.

It is true that there is still no super optimistic sentiment among investors, but I think we observe a calming down in the market, and that says that the next step should be price increases. In my opinion it is possible that the Alt season will start this year, but certainly not for all cryptocurrencies.

altseason is increasing price for almost all cryptocurrency, if not almost cryptocurrency, it isnt called as altseason.
beside that, bitcoin dominance must declines rapidly, so it leads to an increase of investment in the Altcoins and may lead to an AltSeason

Everyone has different predictions when talking about this issue and all should be watched for fun or can be ignored if you do not like. I do not have much opinion regarding this market but the altcoin season can happen at any time because the crypto market is considered to be a place with lots of big surprises. Now there are thousands of predictions regarding the altcoin season but I will analyze this market my way.

For me, the increase in Bitcoin will not help much for altcoin but it is a must for the best altcoin season. Of course, this market is all dependent on Bitcoin but this coin will reduce its dominance in 2020 so that other altcoins have a better chance of growth.

Bitcoin has always been the first and probably this time it will be too. However, due to the fact that altcoins prices have fallen much more than the BTC price during the last bear market, they can react faster to positive market sentiment.

Actually theres no one on this market can have those precise predictions yet they do already assume that there would be a flip out on just seeing some minimal changes.
Yes, we are already on a consolidation state compared on a very bearish market in previous years and month and thats already a good thing but we should not think off
overboard yet expectations and hopes does really hurt when crypto market would tend to break those things.For now, if you can handle up the risk then it isnt bad
to consider on purchasing some alts into its sideways movements.

We just have so many people that are trying to use speculation to drive the market of altcoin forward without them first looking at if we have any available factor that will take responsibility for this, and it is only an event that can call for the altcoins season which I don’t see any for now.

The only factor that I am considering causing the altcoin season to start is that of Ethereum 2.0. Libra seemed to have the opposite reaction (when first announced), by boosting BTC, but smushing alts in the process. Early-mid summer and BTC and Alts were chugging along fine, hand in hand ... Libra announced, BTC goes nuts, Alts smushed.

But I agree, if altcoin season does come around again, ETH 2.0 could be a factor. Only problem is, isn't ETH 2.0 supposed to start rolling out (1st phase) like 2 months from now? You'd think there would be more hype or movement already. Then again, crypo has it's own weird sense of time ... maybe 2 weeks before the event is when prices start to move.

I agree with you. Altcoins might not have the kinda fuel to make moves like it did in 2017 and if there's going to be moves, selected key alts will make the biggest moves. As for the price level for Bitcoin, I'm sure It'll exceed the all time high abd beyond. Bitcoin halving is a big deal. I expect the price to reflect that.

Altcoin season wont start before we reach next year, that's my prediction anyway. Bitcoin controls the market right now, and nobody wants to go into an altcoin right now, before a real bull market has been confirmed.
Once it happens though, I'm sure we'll see a lot of greedy people wanting to get in on the market again.
I predict DEX projects to be massive hits - We've seen more and more people actually caring about their privacy when trading. Pretty much sick of KYC forms, which makes no sense when you think about it.

And that is the only healthy posture, investors keep trying to anticipate when the altcoin season will start and for almost 2 years that has been a waste of time, wait until it happens and when it does then invest in altcoins.

If you do not let yourself by influenced by the fear of missing out then you can easily pull out some profits when it happens similar to what those that have been outside of the market did when bitcoin began to go up in value during this year.

Every prediction in this market only view and not trusted because the risk can be very high if you choose to invest with them. I usually just analyze this market by myself and always make decisions when investing because if you have the knowledge, please take advantage of that to be safer in this market. In fact, the altcoin season is likely to happen in the near future but only for a short time as the uptrend is usually not stable in the long run.

Yes, you are right market seems to be stable, which we might see any movement in the price of altcoin will surely increase in the market. The price of Bitcoin is fluctuating, which seems to be very tough to predict, maybe it will take some time to recover the altcoin market. We have to wait and see.

I expect an altseason, if it occurs, to be much more selective as well. Perhaps top 100-200ish coins increase somewhat, but it'll only probably be a handful of alts that really provide decent returns.

And I too think BTC will eventually exceed its ATH, although I'm not so certain it'll occur when the halvening does.. or a least I don't think it'll far exceed it. If going by past history, BTC may get close to or nudge slightly beyond ATH, fall back a bit, and we may need to wait a year or so for it to really take off. It also wouldn't surprise me in the least if we see BTC do what LTC recently did with its halvening -- BTC increases, possibly between 10-20K, but 2 or so months before the actual halvening date. Then it does the dump thing before the event, meaning prices had gotten baked in early.

I think you can not apply any kind of analysis on the crypto markets, even traditional markets are random and near impossible to predict, and crypto is much more volatile and easier to manipulate. however there are patterns in the chaos, it looks to me like we still have quite a few more months of sideways trading before we see any confirmation for next altcoin season. If we go back and we consider the chart "bottom" beginning of 2015, we didn't see a confirmed breakout till 2016. So we will be waiting for 2020. also remember the catalyst for the 2017 bull-run was insane levels of retail FOMO which was obvious from all the mainstream attention crypto was receiving, and it was advertised all over the place. In my opinion we never see like that again.

I see on the chart that the altcoin season will begin no earlier than February 2020.  The problem is that technical analysis does not work in the cryptocurrency market, since it has a high percentage of manipulations.

Analysts have been predicting an auction season for a while now.  Although I remain optimistic as I have a rather substantial altcoin holding,  I do think the auction season may take longer to manifest than is projected as a result of this unpredictable price action with BTC.

My problem with analysts is there over smartness in giving open ended predictions without time frame and thus limit. It is as good as someone with basic economics knowledge saying that bitcoin will get back to 20k usd which is pretty much like a fact with all the news of adoption happening lately
