Why Altcoin has not been priced where Bitcoin Stable has been in the same place for a long time.

Because they are two different market.  Aside from that, there are lots of altcoin that have no real life usage.  They are just good in paper and yet to develop their goal.  Not saying lots of altcoin had been labeled scam so many people are having a second thought entering the altcoin market.

It happens the same from the beginning. Now it is the time for bitcoin to increase in value and it will continue to increase and when the traders get enough profit from the trade of bitcoin they will turn to altcoins and will start trade altcoins then all of the altcoins will start to increase.

Beside this there are a number of high potential altcoins which run along the price of bitcoin and when the market is better the price of it also increases. You have to focus on those coins till the alt season.

Altcoins price is actually very good for investments but not in all of them and only in few of them who actually know what they're doing and they have an active dev team and a proper marketing to promote the project. I'm no longer waiting for the altcoin season and I simply let it happen whenever it will happen. If we simply complain daily about this at some point we will get impatient and we will sell at this low prices.

Its true that most of us expected a better year for altcoins but Bitcoin's dominance is not letting any open air for altcoins in order to rise again to at least summer prices. Personally I have small investments anytime I have money to spend in order to increase my portofolio.

  Alt-coins price is not a disappointment, just some people expected too much in the short period of time. I`m the one who invested in some
alt-coins in 2017, on their top, but you don`t see me crying about that.
   Alt-coins have a future, at least some of them! I`m not sure did I make a right choice with all of them, cause now I have many alt-coins
in my wallets. I don`t expect all of them to cost much more then they cost now, but I picked at least few good ones I will be happy.

To me, price gains is literally the only thing that's disappointing in most of them. I've been investing before the $1000 -> $300 BTC dump and altcoin price dumps are even more disappointing now. But the difference is that this time i know that the older projects are not going anywhere and i could make some actual money with them.

I also think like that that altcoin and bitcoin when the pump trends are not always the same because the function and the popularity level is better, as well as other things, there are many differences and the volume is different. plus there are some altcoin developers who commit fraud, as said by you and the fraud makes altcoin not much seen by people

This is because most altcoins are no longer having their most volume paired with Bitcoin. They have huge number of volume paired with stable coins which do not really have any significant impact on the altcoin's market value.  Ethereum, for instance, has about 70% of its volume paired with USDT. With this, a change in Bitcoin will not have any significant impact on the Ethereum market value.

That has been the case for more than a year now, people are not buying alts even if they are good with good projects . My opinion on this matter is that there is not enough money in these markets now , this is wy alts are going only down, people are not taking risks - not buying alts.

We just need to find the right alt-coin to buy and don't fall for those new project that have a huge potential to be a scam.

We all know that about your question on why some altcoins are very disappointing income of prices. Actually altcoins it can become a shitcoins if the developer of the altcoins are not interested more and down the volume. Sometime they listed in the unknown ecxchange that have small amout of price so we can tell that this altcoins are not have any future, I'm disappoint also because they are to many in my folio standby maybe i will remove if they become zero value.

i think if you put your money in the right place, wich mean in a good altcoins

I think only altcoin that has no potential will make you disappointed while altcoin which can potentially be expensive will never make you disappointed because altcoin like that will make you get a lot of profit, you should be able to find altcoin that really has the potential to be expensive.

They are buying it but some people are seeing the volatility as the main aspect to determine whether such altcoin is worth to buy or not. There was a lot of money even BAKKT has brought million dollars in a day.
People are still buying altcoin and what you are saying is not the same as the fact that already happened with CMC site a few days ago.

in this thread you have read many opinions why altcoin is dissapointing, you can know from the replied. i personnaly believe bcz not in altseason yet
i wanna spot in others view, i know it's hard for us and make so deppressed with this condition, but take it easy
just believe if the good thing would happen. we will se another altseason that will make altcoin better

It's because the crypto market lately monotonous, eveybody is doing daytrading to earn money and not having an investment for a long run.
Old investors are running away because there was a lot of scams happened in crypto, so i think we'll have to wait longer until the price recovering again

we should choose long-term investment until the next stage, and if our investment goes down just keep buying a little more every salary so called dollar cost average.

i recommend to read " a random walk down walstreet" it talks about markets in general and its really 100% true by my observation.

Bitcoin is expected to break the 4-digit price anytime from now. And we all know the possibility when this happens. The altcoins might suffer more. The red in the alts will become stronger as the green candles in Bitcoin's charts will grow longer and longer.
